    Attempt to repay victim/s:

I have recently come in contact with PendulumRID via Skype in attempt to make ends meet after the very long period of time since our last contact. Here is a direct paste of the conversation that I had with him on April 30/2014

[4:47:08 PM] Aaron: Hi Pendulum, I'd like to add you as a contact.
[5:38:01 PM] *** Pendulum has shared contact details with Aaron. ***
    [5:38:03 PM] Pendulum: Hi?
[5:38:57 PM] Aaron: Hey, I wanted to have a brief conversation with you - I'm eating dinner now so I'll get back to you in a bit if that's okay?
[5:39:20 PM] Pendulum: May I ask what it would be about?
[6:23:22 PM] Aaron: Long story short, you and I have some unfinished business which should have been dealt with long ago. I shouldn't really be keeping the story too short because you deserve to hear an appropriate explanation.
[6:25:13 PM] Pendulum: I would suppose so, I lost basically everything I had on RS..
[6:28:08 PM] Aaron: Im very sorry about what happened. I got pulled into a bind as well. Some meddlesome kids on runescape exploited some of my private information and ended up accessing all of my private accounts (paypal/on line banking/ and alot of runescape accounts that shared a similar login prefix [[email protected]].
[6:28:48 PM] Aaron: I kind of threw me into submission because I had so many open disputes in every area imaginable. And it's not that i didn't feel that our situation wasn't important, because it was important to me
[6:29:19 PM] Aaron: I just couldnt cope mentally with everything happen at once, because what ive been explaining here is only the tip of the ice berg.
[6:29:51 PM] Aaron: Ive been making an effort to come in contact with the users that fell short because of my misfortunates, and ive been doing my best to satisfy their losses from what happened.
[6:30:04 PM] Aaron: There is a long list of my accounts [[email protected] ones]
[6:30:20 PM] Aaron: that can never be accessed again because theyve been permanentely locked.
[6:30:54 PM] Aaron: Jagex was made aware that there was somehting going on with the accounts being hijacked, and that they were involved with rwt as well. Ive actually got some personal message from them as well about the situation once i delved into it further.
[6:32:32 PM] Aaron: Anyways, things have settled down quite some bit; and ive been able to stabilize myself mentally and financially. And i wanted to come back in contact with you so that I could ensure that we are on good terms, despite the long time gap.
[6:32:52 PM] Aaron: I'd really appreciate your understanding with the situation, if you have any questions for me; you deserve all of the answers.
[6:35:31 PM] Aaron: Nonetheless; I have a few resolutions and propositions to make to you so that we can come to an agreement of some sort.
[6:37:07 PM] Pendulum: well i'd be interested. I'm down 400M from this trade.
    [6:40:27 PM] Aaron: Okay so what I'm going to attempt to do is;
[6:40:39 PM] Aaron: Im going to do my best to recover the name you purchased from me then
[6:40:48 PM] Aaron: That isn't necessarily it though.
[6:41:05 PM] Aaron: Transferring names has been a struggle for some users who've had bad luck.
[6:41:20 PM | Edited 6:42:02 PM] Aaron: Im willing to transfer the name onto your main account
[6:41:49 PM] Aaron: its a premium service that ive offered for people who purchase most rare than normal names, and would like the added assistance.
    [6:43:51 PM] Pendulum: that's funny
[6:44:33 PM] Aaron: you're not interested in that?
    [6:44:49 PM] Pendulum: not quite
[6:44:55 PM] Aaron: You wouldn't have any additional expenses
[6:45:02 PM] Aaron: and I can garantee that the name will be delievered onto your account
[6:45:35 PM] Pendulum: i don't really want the name anymore
[6:47:26 PM] Aaron: Okay fair enough. Well this type of resolution warrants as a fair refund in terms of the rules with regards to account trading on sythe.org. Il be making a pardon and informing the staff that you have declined the offering of a "fair refund" in their terms.
[7:02:13 PM] Pendulum: you scammed me in 2012, yet you open up a name shop on powerbot in 2013
[7:02:33 PM] Pendulum: you're not offering a fair refund, nor are you even allowed back on sythe under your username.
[7:02:47 PM] Pendulum: ill be gladly spamming your powerbot thread with you actions from sythe
[7:05:48 PM] Aaron: I'm open minded to discuss an agreeable resolution but with that attitude I feel less inclined
[7:07:39 PM] Pendulum: Well i'm no longer interested in a name, nor willing to give out any of my info to someone who was hacked / RAT'd. Id be more than willing to accept the RSGP I lost or paypal to cover it.
[7:23:05 PM | Edited 7:23:19 PM] Aaron: Sounds good , that's only one idea though , you don't necessarily need to give me any details if we choose to transfer it together a different way.
[7:27:25 PM] Aaron: While I understand where you're coming from I can assure you that my current situation is competletely secured
[7:35:57 PM] Pendulum: Well you know my terms. It's been two years, I don't want a RS name anymore.
[7:37:52 PM] Aaron: Even if we attempted It on a mule throwaway account
[7:38:56 PM] Pendulum: Id be willing to try.
[7:38:58 PM] Aaron: Fair enough. Il look Into things more and get back to you

I still need to clarify the rules for refunding accounts to see what would deem as a “fair” refund for both parties. I have made a few attempts to contact some moderators about this, but haven't gotten a response as of yet. As you can see in our conversation I made an effort to go above and beyond by offering him a transferrable username with no additional cost with regards to money or time for the victimized user. He declined my offer, even though we completed an original commitment to exchange the name for gold in the past. I have noticed the directions from the staff on my original dispute, however I do not feel that those obligations are fair on my behalf, as we did make an original agreement to exchange the display name for gold. In regular interaction these commitments aren’t reversed or refunded unless the purchased good is not refundable due to the account being banned or not obtainable in some manner.

I do understand his frustration, however I was very displeased with his lack of compliance and maturity when he threatened to spam my threads on other forums. I made an effort to provide him full disclosure on what had happened on my end. Because of his attitude towards the situation I feel that it may make things fairly difficult to sort out, and that’s why I haven’t yet replied since that conversation transpired. I also want to point out that the account he purchased was for 300M RSGP and not 400M as he has mentioned in the conversation and on the dispute he filed on me. (This can be referenced by the vouch on my vouches thread where he posted on August 27, 2012.

Detailed description of the events that took place:

I will refresh you on context of the situation and a brief timeline of what happened nearly two years ago:

    - “PendulumRID” purchased a rare name from me on August 27/12.
    - Approximately one month later the account was locked for reasons that were unknown at that time.
    - PendulumRID noticed that his account was locked, and filed a scammer report on me on Oct 8/2012

His idea to file a report against me was completely warranted, I expected to be informed that the account was locked. As the seller of this account, I understand that it is my responsibility to secure the account, and redeliver the account in a stable and secure manor and if that wasn’t possible to issue a refund of what was paid. On a side note, I was a little unsure why I was being obligated to issue a refund, and not secure the account. As of August 27/2012 we made a commitment to exchange my account for his 300M rsgp. In the event that the account was locked, why should I return his RSGP and not the account?

I will now explain a plethora of unfortunate events that took place during the month of September (Whether or not this is valid to my dispute I feel that it is necessary to note this).

During the month of September a lot of my personal and private information was compromised by a small group of hackers (Not confirmed who/how the information was obtained). I’m not sure how or why this information was compiled and used against me, but it was. Many of my personal profiles like my Facebook, my twitter accounts were all being tampered with, causing some stress with my personal life because I used these fairly regularly and had a large network of friends and family on these accounts. I knew that this attack was inspired by a group of Runescape players because the players were sending in emails to Jagex reporting all of my accounts as stolen and making attempts to recover the accounts using recovery details based on my stolen personal information. I was always friendly with everyone within the community, the only motive towards these actions were probably for the shear greed of taking my possessions, and I guess the thrill of damaging someone personal life.

Through experience with the Runescape accounts marketplace, it is known that when an email is sent out to Jagex regarding the loss or hijacking of a runescape account, they do a check of the original owner vs. the currently active IP to identify if the current player on the account = the original creator of the account. Since a large variety of my accounts at that time had similar login names ([email protected], [email protected], etc) it made it a little easier for harm to come my way because it was fairly easy for someone to randomly send in an email asking jagex to perform an ip check seeing if the ips did not meet up. This is something that I had not anticipated or thought about before-hand, and unfortunately it put a few of my customers at risk due to the malicious intent of these hackers. It is not for certain yet if the hackers were actually able to obtain the accounts, or just locked them using the jagex contact email. Needless to say, I have come in contact with the users who may/have been affected by this and have made settlements with them privately by issuing them refunded accounts, or new display names in return. Thankfully only three users were affected. Two have been satisfied long ago because they contacted me privately during the month of September 2012 before submitting disputes/reports against me. The only unsatisfied order to date is PendulumRID; and I feel that this issue could have and should have been dealt with in different ways, and at a much sooner time. My reasoning for my delayed response and actions in 2012 were attributed by the immense amount of stress and financial damages that were caused by losing my personal accounts and main Runescape account in September 2012. This is a theory that I have learned to believe is true over a large amount of personal investigating. The only other unconfirmed theory of how my information was leaked or stolen is that my information may have been compromised while Arcus Isadar’s website was being RATTED during the month of September 2012. I did some fairly frequent business with Arcus, and I used his website at times. I can’t recall completely if I had used the site during the time period when this happened, the whole situation about how my information was stolen still puzzles me.

Anything I have not been banned for but would like to confess:
I was always uncertain about the rules regarding name sniping. I have admittedly sniped names in the past, and there is an undeniable amount of information linking my alias to name sniping. I will however clarify that I have never sniped a Runescape username with the pure intention to ever come between a black market trades that took place on any market site that I was ever a part of. Name sniping is just a form of gathering inventory for a shop/service that I offer. Similar to a player mining (sniping) coal ores (names) and storing them in a bank. Bear in mind that the market I am involved in is a very dramatic, and competitive market. Scamming is very common amongst newcomers which is why I have always taken my business very seriously. I have always tried to efficiently increase my “stock” by obtaining names the most appropriate way possible (without the intention to steal or ruin a black market trade) in order to satisfy and provide high quality SECURE goods to my customers. Through the 450+ Feedback that I possess across other credible market sites, it is clear that my goods/service are high in security and quality. I am willing to adhere to all forums rules; if these rules are clearer now than they were before and these actions are not tolerated under any circumstances now, I am willing to part with my old ways in order to move forward in this community.

    The future for Folt

    If my Pardon is supported

If my pardon is supported I already have a number of new ideas that I plan to bring to the forums. First and foremost I would be love to be back in presence and regular socialization with my old friends, and to make new friends in this progressively growing community. Of course I would resume my shop in the names section, get myself into some other types of business as well regarding gold merchanting. I have some ideas to give back to the community by offering a free rare names giveaway (this is something I’m still thinking of putting together as I have a variety of creative ways that I would like to give away some names). I have just spent a lot of time and effort creating a guide to increase the safety and security of goods within the names market, and I would love to fuel the advertising of that on these forums as well. (Lvl 75 Def is currently helping me advertise that on your forums already – a great helpful friend of mine). I was not always the most social user when I was around in 2011-2012 but I plan to be more involved in a number of ways if I have the opportunity to return.

If my pardon is not supported

If my pardon isn’t supported, I will understand the opinions and lack of support from staff of course, and continue to do my business elsewhere as I have done now for nearly two years. I do greatly miss this community and I would love to take participation in it once again. I would not be typing up this well thought out, passionate and thorough pardon request if I wasn’t going to take this opportunity seriously.

Why Do I Feel Like I should be forgiven?

During the time of my dispute against PendulumRID I was in an ongoing battle with my second year of university, working full time to make ends meet, securing my home network, social media accounts, and my 8 year old main Runescape account. While I know that this dispute was of utmost importance, I had to put in down the list of the many priorities that I had at the time of these other unfortunate events that had happened almost simultaneously. I do apologize for my lack of receptiveness on this topic, and I assure you that the stressful conditions were merely an obstacle to provide the attention required to sort the dispute out at the time.

For the remainder of the year in 2012, I withdrew myself from online interactions almost completely so that I could sort out complications in my real life. When I returned to the marketplace in 2013 I knew that I had unfinished business on Sythe.org still but was embarrassed by my period of inactivity to the point where I didn’t know how to approach the topic. I went on to rebuild my reputation across other marketplaces and satisfy customers on playerauctions.com, and powerbot.org as well as the loyal customers who have always contacted me via skype, with the intention to eventually sort out my unfinished business on sythe.org.

Over the course of one and half years since my permanent ban I have made no attempt at penetrating servers or evading my ban at all and have took my business elsewhere for the time being. I have always recommended friends to use sythe.org even during my period of inactivity with the forums; because I know the community is full of wonderful users and talented staff members. I have a large variety of friends and customers on sythe.org that I have known over the years, and some of them could trust me with their “bank” (for lack of a better term). I feel that I have proven myself as a trustworthy user based on my previous vouches on sythe.org, my current feedback score of 307 on Playerauctions.com and with my 45 high quality trades on powerbot.org. I have made attempts to make ends meet with PendulumRID. I would love the opportunity to return to the Sythe.org community, which has always been the forums website that I referred to as “home”. I take complete responsibility for my lack of response over the years and apologize for that dearly, I would love to return to the forums where I feel most comfortable, and at Home.

Did you fully read and follow this sticky thread in the pardon section?: Yes

Thanks for taking the time to read my lengthy pardon.

If there are any necessary clarifications to be made, please respond here as I will be actively checking for responses; or contact me privately on my skype: DeeJayPeaches
