Bans?

If i were to be selling gold to a Trusted gold seller and they were to get banned instantly after I accepted the trade, would they pay me for the gold I were to sell?

 

I guess it depends on the trader. Best to ask before you sell the gold if you're concerned.

Yeah, like if I met them in RS and then we got banned after the RS trade was completed.

In order to keep their rep and to not be banned on Sythe, I believe they'd have to be required to pay you still.

 

This is too circumstantial and the odds of this happening are low. It is highly dependent on the user, and don't think they will not scam you after they are banned.

 

Yeah they pay, sometimes they will try to get you to split it although you don't have to.

 

Depends on the buyer. The bigger they are, the more likely they are to pay you. I know this happened to R2P with me once a few years ago. Thankfully I think he sold most of it pre-ban .

I'd say it's pretty clear that once the gold has been given, the buyer is responsible to pay the seller.
I've had this happen numerous times over the time I'm selling gp, and always paid up because there is just no way to proove in any way that the user is responsible for the ban.

Yes if they receive the gold they are liable to pay you for it, iv had this exact same thing happen to me when someone traded me 150m 07 , and paid them anyway.

 

Chances of that are below 0.1%. However, most reputable large gold sellers WILL pay you. If you sell to a random user, chances are you won't geit paid.

 

You will get paid like everyone has said. Just be careful, ask for PM's.
