Can attest to namecheap being a good one - very fair prices and a very good service.

As for hosting, iPage will give you some great packages for relatively cheap. If you need any help, feel free to PM me! :)

I can't compare prices, but HostGator has always been good to me, service-wise.
Before that, HostMonster was another. But there was a period that they had poor service, so I don't know.

You can get particularly under-priced domains (like .co) from domain.com. But then you get roped into hosting (not 100% necessary, afaik), etc.
They cost a bit more, because of the "need" to host there, but it isn't too bad.

Domain.com isn't bad about buying a domain and switching the NS to HostGator for a simple plan.

Just MAKE SURE you cancel your agreement with Domain.com and renew the domain as needed.

Hostgator and Namecheap are great. I used Hostgator for 2 years then switched to Namecheap because it's half the price and just as good service.

I do not recommend iPage. Their service is unstable, their networks are prone to attacks, and they have more "maintenance" than other service providers.

Godaddy is the go to place for domain registration.

If you have a fairly busy site, then go with enterprise solutions. If your site caters to single region areas, then Microsoft Hosting is fine.

If you have global audiences, then use cloud solutions, Azure by Microsoft, or Amazon Web Services (AWS) both of which are cloud based.
