Is PlayerAuctions down for everyone?

PA is down for me, it doesn't work on any of my vps' even, but for some people it seems to work still

whats the verdict

 

Seems to be running fine for me, although I don't use it much at all.

Why would you use a VPS to access PA? Unless you mean VPN?

 

I use vps' for trading, I just tried PA on there to see if it works since it doesn't on my main PC. It works on my iPad though, odd >_<

 

It's down for me. It's not just you

 

I can get to the log in screen but for the past 5 or so days, after I log in, I get some "we will be right back" message saying they are under maintenance. I've had an order that got caught in the crossfire that I still haven't been able to complete since I can't navigate to that screen so I wonder how thats going to work out.

 

I can kinda get it working now, if I type in playerauctions.com I get the down for maintenance page but if I go to a specific link such as https://www.playerauctions.com/member/myorder/ it works. Odd

 

Thanks for posting this. I am going to have our IT team look at it. Can you give the time the site was down for you?

Our servers are currently hosted out of KR, of which our sister company gives us a server with a 1TB bandwidth. The site is hosted out of a CDN but this only includes static content. We have a few development projects which are on the table currently, but once they are off the table, we are going to be migrating back to the US within this year, and put ourselves on a reverse proxy CDN which would include static as well as dynamic content.

This should make connectivity problems go away.

Only the homepage shows the maintenance message, and it can be fixed by clearing browser cookies and logging in again.

You can also manually browse to any of the subpages.
