Unofficial Sythe.org Minecraft Server [Vanilla][Factions][Cracked]

I bring you, the Unofficial Sythe.org Minecraft server!
Based on the poll Delta Squad did a few weeks ago, I decided to take up the straw and make one, to see what activity is like.

Server information

Plugins
The server has a number of plugins:
Essentials - Pretty much essential on any minecraft server. Helps make shops, warps, teleports and much, much more.
Groupmanager - Rank manager pretty much. I've set it up so anybody can play, build etc, but Sythe.org users have some extra privileges. More about this a bit further down the post.
Factions - The anti-grief and protection plugin. This plugin allows you to claim and with this claim, protect land.
LoginSecurity - This plugin allows the server to be cracked, yet secure so nobody logs in to your account and steals your items.

Minecraft version
The server is currently running on Minecraft 1.6.4, this is because the server host (gameservers.com) currently only supports this minecraft version.
I'll try and get it up to date soon, ~1.7.2 ish, but that's of later concern.

This means that in order to play the server, you need to use Minecraft version 1.6.4

You can download the Minecraft Launcher (if you have premium) here:

Open the .exe file and log in.
After logging in, click New Profile in the bottom left, and use these settings:



Click save profile, select the profile from the drop-down menu in the bottom left, and click play to download and play Minecraft 1.6.4

Cracked clients usually have a similar layout. Look up on your specific client how to downgrade/upgrade to 1.6.4 . I cannot help you with one of these clients.

The server IP
The server ip is:
8.2.122.212:25575
It is important that you copy the whole thing, and use that as an IP when trying to connect to the server.
It won't work if you leave out the port (the part behind the colon) as there are more MC servers on these ip's.

How do I start playing?

When you are in the game, you'll probably have a very dark screen, and can't move, talk or do anything.

When you first join you need to register.
To register type in-game:

/register password

Obviously change password to a password of your choice. Just do something random that you don't use anywhere else because the encryption on these passwords is pretty much nonexistent.

When you have succesfully registered your screen will go bright and you'll be ready to play.

Next time, on logging in you'll need to log in before you can see anything or do anything.
To login type in-game:

/login password

Again, change password to the password you chose to register with.

If you ever happen to forget your password, I can only help you if you've confirmed your Minecraft name to me on Sythe, before you forgot it.
If not, there is not much I can do.

Help me run the server
As much as I'd like to sponsor the server with all my money, I really can't miss more than a few bucks a month to upkeep this server, and that's where you guys come in.
With Gameservers.com there is an awesome feature that allows people to donate money to the 'clan'.
With the image link below, you can choose to donate anywhere from $5 to $500 to the server, and help it stay online for a long time.
Please donate anything you can loose to the cause. (any donations lower than $5 can be sent to my own paypal, which I then directly will send to gameservers.)

All donors whom donate $5 or more will be put in the usergroup Donator.
All donors whom donate $10 or more will recieve additional rewards on the server
All donors whom donate $20 or more will recieve even more rewards on the server

Red balance = payment due and no balance/balance is in the negative
Green balance = no payment due and balance remaining on the account

Q. I can't play it won't let me
A. That doesn't give me an example where you are having an error.
Give as much information on what your problem is and what your minecraft specs are.

Q. Why is my screen dark and can't I see anything?
A. Register and login to fix this issue.

Q. Why is the server so laggy?
A. Because hosting a minecraft server is expensive, donate for more RAM if you feel like it

Q. I pm'd you my minecraft name but I don't have member yet.
A. Relax, I'm a busy man, I'll get round to it.

Q. Can I get creative?!?!?!?!
A. No. Play the server like anybody else

Q. Can I get Admin?!?!?!
A. No. Staff gets chosen at my discretion. Nobody gets staff unless I decide they deserve it.

Q. OMG why is [insert rule/config/setting here] like this? Sucks balls
A. Because I chose it to. If you have a suggestion, pm it to me and I'll check it out. If I agree I'll change it.

Q. Why don't we have [insert plugin here] installed?
A. Plugins take a lot of memory. I want to install some more important plugins, but for that to happen the server needs an upgrade. Consider donating for this cause.

If this server doesn't get new users joining, I'm terminating the project in the coming few weeks.
