How to get rid of a hickey?

I've never had one before but this new girl has been like sucking on my neck and I woke up with not a bruiser or anything, but its kinda red and a different color then my natural skin tone.

How do i get rid of one this late into it?

I googled and they said on the guides its suppose to be right after but I'm well beyond that point.

I had a lot of these.. Just put a spoon in the freezer, let it get cold and apply it to your hickey. It should be gone overnight.

Teeth don't give hickeys, the suction does. It breaks capillaries near the surface of the skin, which is the definition of bruising. Since a hickey is a bruise, there's no way to get rid of it other than wait for it to heal. It will yellow after two days and disappear after two more days.

The only way to hide it is makeup, a scarf, or a collar.

Contrary to home-remedy beliefs, ice doesn't make it go away faster any more than ice makes bruises go away. Ice is only good for reducing inflammation.

 

I hide it with sweaters if I'm at her house the hood helps cover the area around your neck when its down, at my house my parents just don't care so it's whatever.

 

Wear hoodies to cover it up or pat some makeup on there if there is some around the house. I heard ice works as well.

blistex cap or chapstick cap, push into the hicki rubbing it around in circles

My dad didn't give two shits, he just said don't let your mom see it or she won't let her come over again (yea right, like I would let that happen...) but I'm going to try to ice it down, I'm rarely at my house so it shouldn't be to hard to hid it from her.

Also might try the blistex cap thing but I feel like that would just worsen it if anything.

Spoon in the freezer and apply spoon to neck after 4 hours hold for 30 seconds should do the trick.

 

I recommend not getting hickies in the first place

 

Just cover it up with a scarf or clothing
