Steam Sales, small edit in rules.

Hello, I think it could be nice to add that you need proof of csgo skins and maybe with your sythe name in it.
Some skins are worth a lot and many in Steam Sales don't even post picture when its is about csgo skins, many does when it is about accounts or gifts.
Mods tell people to add proof when i report someone that has not posted any img when selling a skin. I just think it is time to be added.

EDIT: I just thought that a link to steam community should not be enough as proof. It could be a random guy with public profile.

Well typically the user has to trade with you so you can see they own the item before any dealing happens. I don't think it's against to sell items outside of steam wallet so the seller should have no problem verifying the validity of the item.

 

I think most sell their skins for Paypal, then it wont end up in a trade to proof. It is just a small edit, and a proof take me around 20 sec to make and upload.
Also posting proof in a thread would get more attention that one without. Makes it better for the forum.

 

A text window over the screen wouldn't be good proof. I could easily throw my own text window over yours and call that my knife. A in game screenshot after you saying something in the server would be a bit more appropriate, but still not concrete.

 

What do you suggest then?

It is the same as gifts. I think CSGO items should be added now since its new and very popular. Steam Sales rules doesn't get updated that much, and it could do with a slight update once in a while.

 

There is a new CS:GO section now. There is a sticky, any ammendments anyone can see needing done?
