Why does it take so long to sell 07GP?

Why does it take so long to find a legit buyer for 07GP on RS? Like, I'm selling mine for 10 cents/M lower than the lowest guy I've seen and still no-one has offered me anything!

Looking at your recent selling thread, you don't sell as quick because I don't think most people would pay with the method you're asking for. I think you're better off selling to a trusted gold buyer in the buying section for around $2.00-$2.20/m cash depending on the seller. Just watch out for imposters.

 

It's because the game is dying and off most of the GP now a days just gets passed around people who merch it and not people who actually use it.

I've put it for sale yesterday, and 25+ guys have added me on Skype + I've received over 20 PM's, so I'm not sure why it takes you so long, lol

I could've sold it within 5 mins, for a very reasonable price.

@ OP, It's probably because you are asking for Steam gift cards as payment.

Asking for a very specific type of payment will often result in longer waiting times.

Zk is partially right. View zybez for example, merchers everywhere. It's outrageous how many they are. They hold the most volume of supplies, gp included.

OT: Patience. You will come across commoners looking to buy gp eventually.

 

Ask for their QQ won gold is the biggest 07 buyer, he supplies most of the Chinese sites ask around see what others can do then tell won gold to beat it. Most of the sythe buyers sell it to him anyway.

Is there a specific reason why you are selling with such a specific payment method (steam gift cards?).

If you want to sell for cash, you may want to try PA (shameless plug... but seriously). A lot of buyers can be price conscious, and we've recently implemented a new sorting by price (which may not last) which gives a competitive edge for sellers who can compete by price (i.e. you can be listed at the top. you should move GP faster than you can handle).

^^^ This. Unless there is direct evidence for people just merching sales between each other, metrics on PA support Xier0. Sales for RS07 are higher than EOC, and both have actually seen slight increases over the past weeks. Prices for 07 have been slightly decreasing as well (although they are lowest on PA amongst competing larger b2c sites), therefore with higher transactions passing through the platform, it would point to increased consumer activity.
