Report a Scammer improvement

The RAS subforum is full of badly-formatted, difficult to read, and unsubstantiated threads. Because of this, mods spend many hours sifting through the crap to find what they actually need to know.

My suggestion is simple, but I don't know if it's possible given the way Sythe is coded. Can we make it such that clicking the "new thread" link (http://www.sythe.org/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=253) in RAS brings you to a pre-formatted post that has in it sections of this post?

So it would look something like:


And then the posted thread could look like that except with the header cut off (not necessary, just a stylistic thing). Thoughts? Suggestions?


And add this to take you to a screen that looks like the above:

Support, if its possible. It seems that many people (mostly newcomers) who go to make a report after being scammed tend to rush through their reports due to anger/panic/ignorance. Having to resubmit their reports in proper format wastes their time and the mods' time, not to mention it gives the potential scammer more time to scam others.

 

As much as I want to say just read the ** stickys, this would be a nice change.

Yeah would be nice to have the template ready with the click of the button, support.

 

Excellent idea. It would limit the reports without proof. I'm not sure if its possible though but if it is definitely a great addition.

 

This would make our RaS forum a whole lot more junk-free.

This definetly needs improvement. No doubt newcomers are having problems and its hard for mods to solve them lol

 

Yep sure would be nice beats all the spam of people just posting random shit on there and it having to be closed by a mod saying " insufficient proof".

Even a form like the one you use when you do bulletin points could be used I suppose.

Support, people ignoring the stickies gets old just as someone talking a look at reports every once and a while.

This was brought up a few years ago, Blupig had a hand in it but not sure why the project got stopped.

I support this. I think the addition would be fairly simple and make everyone's live easier.
