Smartwatch by Will.I.Am

I know smartwatches are old news but this sounds and looks promising. Thoughts?

 

Looks horrible imo, but would be nice if it would be affordable and widely available.
I think it'd get very popular if he does it right.

 

I quite like the look of it, if I'm honest. Screams Will.I.Am though; seeing as he is from the future xD

 

It looks pretty cool, but I want to see how he does a phone call with it. I understand that anything text based will be a breeze, and websurfing will be pretty cool, but will he have to hold his wrist to his ear if he doesn't want to talk on speaker?

 

Either that or blue tooth headset/regular headset I believe

 

Like holding your wrist to your ear is any different from holding a phone to it except a bit higher up

 

I imagine until it becomes commonplace I'll see it and reminisce of the old secret agent movies

Okay that would look good. But I don't see it replacing the smartphone's. The screen would be obviously too small to go to Facebook etc.

 

Will says he uses his for social media xD but yeah, just means it's pretty safe and convenient. When I'm in the city I'm checking my pocket for my phone constantly.

 

I foresee them making a bendy phone (exists already) in this style, so you could clip it onto your wrist like a bracelet, or hold it like a cell phone.

The world is getting pretty scary, imo.

 

Interesting, but I'm sure that small screen will get annoying if using as a daily everyday device.

 

I've been looking into a smartwatch myself, just waiting until they have something less suited for fitness type of stuff really.

 

Looks like it's going to be another over glorified ridiculously expensive product produced by someone in the music industry. I can see huge price tags with little actual features.
