What languages do you (sort of) know?

Python, java, c++. I have to take assembly next semester.

 

Never heard of any of those besides Java tbh... So none.

 

I hope you read this ^ comment after doing a little bit of research and facepalm =p


I know a limited amount of java, c, basic, python, javascript, html/css, and pascal (experimenting with simba). I set little projects/goals for myself and try and carry them out the best I can, which is why I've experienced so many different languages.

I'm only advanced at:

and I know a lot about C++ but i struggle writing code due to not being familiar.

I use the following IDEs:
Netbeans
Sublime/Vim (Depends what OS I have booted)
Dreamweaver

EDIT: I know A BIT OF ASM, not enough to do much, and I'm learning it currently, to one day make my own OS.

 

I can read HTML and CSS scripts without problem

Exactly. A good coder isn't measured by how many languages they know rather how well they can code. If one understands object oriented programming learning a new language isn't a big deal.

 

C, C++, C#, Java, PHP, Python, Visual Basic (.Net), MATLAB, Scala etc.

 

Should probably add Go(lang) up there now since it's gaining a lot of traction especially with new startups.

I like the language, it's similar to Python while also having the benefit of being compiled.

 

Java and bash

 

I know the basics of java
I managed to pass the AP computer science with a 3 even though I skipped the entire Grid world section because we only had like a 20min talk about it before the test :/

I also know html/javascript/css (going to be tested so i can be certified in dreamweaver, photoshop and flash this year)and can make a pretty basic site.

Next year I might get into C++

 

I can add C and bash onto my list now I guess. I should learn Python.

 

I now know javascript, PHP, and HTML/CSS as well as java

 

English and spanish nd italian i know a little bit of french .

I came here hoping to be able to impress some people by me knowing 4 languages (english, spanish, portuguese, italian). I was dissapointed.

I know how to read Java tho

 

I"m something of a c++ guru myself. I've dabbled in Java and this one language called DrScheme. Apparently it's now called Racket or something.

 

I gotta say I really do not like C++.

 

Java, VB, Basic/DarkBasic, a little Python. Not really proficient in any of them though and it has been ages since I coded.
