    Actually sounds like a good idea, apart from the fact that people could get 1k Postcount in a section and never post again (as said in the posts above me).

    You could make it like 1000 postcount to get the minirank, and 10 Posts every 1-2 weeks to keep it.

    That defeats the entire purpose, wouldn't like to see that. If I post 1000 times in my favorite section that point would be to get a permanent minirank.

    If you stop posting in there...so? No one is holding a gun to your head telling you to post. :p If anything, this minirank makes you more active for a decent length of time. Someone might move onto another section, but..so?
