Free Unbanning Services

If its a free service, there's only a positive outcome?

Either it's still banned, or the account gets unbanned..

No one loses out either way, just a potential to gain, I support

 

Alright, so if the service is FREE, and there is no risk. I support.

No vouch is required, but appreciated as after the account unbanning is successful.

No personal information is needed, just the reasoning of the ban and the date in which the ban was received.

Again, I support this... Its free, and with any free service there's either a positive or negative outcome. In this situation if a negative outcome happens, there is no loss other than what you've already lost yourself?.

 

I support. You should charge if the account gets unbanned, but don't charge if it's still banned.

 

There would be complications of not receiving the gold after the account is unbanned. It's currently against the rules to do so, but not a bad idea.

Agree with everyone else, no reason to explicitly blacklist free unbanning services.

 

This has been sitting here long enough, I'm going to make a poll in the lower lounge, give it a week or so, maybe less and I'll give you an answer.

 

This has been denied, staff had discussion and a poll on it and the rules didn't pass.

It's not going to be allowed and unbanning services all-in-all aren't allowed. There's a number of reasons but I'll list a few -

• Let it be said that it's not a bannable offense, it's just not allowed to be done here on Sythe.org
• We don't want people advertising services like this for vouches and then going and essentially sending a mail such as "unban me pls" which a user can very well do himself, so the argument of placing TWCs and such on people who waste time like that is a no go.
• There's too much grey area for things like this, in order to keep it black & white and just for simplicity, the rule is that no services are allowed.
• It's a place for unnecessary clutter and bumping

Again, that's just some of the reasons.

Please don't go about PMing staff saying things like "oh that's bullshit etc."

If you'd like to, create a feedback thread and we'll happily discuss how this was all handled, but again, it was denied.

Unbanning services are not allowed, free or charged.
