I've never used PA before, and I might be getting into gold buying/selling.

Is playerauctions 100% safe to sell gold on?
Is it still possible to be charged back selling gold using pa?
Is it worth selling lower amount of gold using pa? I heard there is a big fee.

About the 3rd question, I mean could I potentially lose money selling a lower amount of gold (like 10m 07) to certain people because of the high price of fees. I just looked and I think it's 10% + $0.99 + 2% paypal?

Its safe but nothing is 100% safe but for the most part its safe i have not had any trouble with them yet.

the 2% fee is just the Paypal disbursement fee. It only applies to selling.

 

They hold the money and once you deliver they give you the money its nice basically a automatic mm

 

Also for buying they charge you 4.11% for using Paypal I believe

For example 10M 07 gp at $3/M would be $30*0,9 = $27 | $27-$1 = $26

 

I think you mean amount*0.1-$1. It's 0.9 you got left

You must take screenshots for all trades. When I used to sell on PA, I would always take 3:

1. 1st Trade Screen
2. Second Trade Screen
3. Accepted Trade in the chatbox screen.

 

I would just record the whole trade, with the PA page open in the video confirming your trading the right person

 

Another good option if you have the hard drive space to do so.

 

Just a quick clarification guys on the PayPal masspay disbursement charge.

* If you have a US PayPal account, then the fee is 2% with a maximum of $1.
* If you have a non-US PayPal account, the fee is 2% with a maximum $20

We didn't always have these disbursement fines, but PayPal decided to levy them two-ish years ago.

To help out users with this, we implemented a disbursement tool which allows users to "build-up" their disbursements to allow them to save money and avoid needing to have this fee apply to every order.

 

I'm Canadian, so does that mean it could potentially cost me more?
