RS Gambling. I know going in that it's impossible to make infinite money, it's just really hard to think about that whilst gambling.

Except- no. The point is to give others an incentive to stop me if I start gambling, not as a bet that I won't gamble lol. Plus, when I know $50 is always on the line, it'll help me not gamble...I hope

I know you've had a few issues with gambling so wish you all the best with this mate.

Even though I know it's nowhere near as much as what you've lost I'm down £450 betting on the football, and have ended up betting daily the past 3 weeks or so. I can't afford to lose that sort of money, I'm a student.

Going to join you and see if I can pull it off as well. Won't post or anything as don't want to burst your bubble, but just see if I can actually ban myself from doing it, as I'm not going to lie, I am addicted to it.

Good to see you finally getting a grip on yourself. You might want to focus on finding something else to take up your time though - if you can't find the time for your RS friends you're much less likely to be pulled in to gambling.

 

Hey TTB i used to have a problem with gambling as well. It seems like the places you gamble most are the donor lounge and dragondyce. Here are some tips to help you stop.

I would highly suggest requesting a ban from the donor lounge. It prevents you from dicing in that forum even if temptations are too great. I've done this myself and after awhile, i've had little to no temptation to dice.

As for dragon dyce, I would suggest to BLOCK that site completely. Again, this will prevent you from going to that site in the first place, and i'll show you how to do it.

*make sure you are an administrator before you try this*

1. Go to Computer

2. In the search bar, search "C:/Windows/system32/drivers/etc" (Without the quotation marks)

3. Double click on "Hosts" and open it with Notepad.

4. Locate the line "127.0.0.1 localhost" or "::1 localhost." Put your cursor at the end of whichever line is lowest down.


5. Press enter to create a new line and type in "127.0.0.1" then a single space, followed by the website you want to block (in this case, dragondyce.org/dragondyce.com/playerswap.com)


6. Save the file (CTRL + S)

7. Restart all your browsers

8. If you did everything correctly, when you try to visit dragondyce, It will be a blank page
