Just released: South Park, The Stick of Truth

This game is so awesome and it will keep you laughing for hours.

It's available on Steam for $60 and it's a little over 4GB to download.

 

When I have some spare cash to throw around I'm definitely picking up a copy for the 360

 

Gotta start sparing some cash, it looks awesome.

 

Saw Pewdiepie playing it on youtube, damn it's a funny game.

Seen this on twitch also, bit childish for me its a point and click game basically wouldn't really call it a game at all, the humor also really appeals to kids not sure what the hype is about

 

Plenty of adults are fans of southpark.

It looks really hilarious, watched a video of it. Definitely going to pick it up soon.

 

$60 is a lot to play considering the limited replay value. I would rather just watch someone play through the game on Twitch than spend that much money on it.

 

OK, I've had plenty of time to pay the game long enough now to say that it's not worth spending the $60 on it. It is what it is for a turn-based game. It's content is funny but, after having played it for a few hours, I remembered why I get bored fairly quickly with turn-based games.

I hope so too. It is certainly funny, don't get me wrong. It's just the turn-based aspect of the game that gets to me after a while. It doesn't mean that I won't pick it up again later on. But, yeah, I think I've had my fill for the time being.

 

Yeah I'm not really a fan of turn-based games either. But it's South Park

 

Asides from it being turn based did you have any other qualms with it?

 

I'll pick this up in the summertime when it hopefully drops naturally or goes on sale. Too many other games to get atm to justify spending 60 on this.

 

Seems kind of expensive, but I might buy it during the summer. Anyone else have reviews?

I don't think it is worth $60. I'd do like $20 for it because it is pretty simple as far as RPGs go.

 

This... I'll play it when it drops in price... And only then. lol.

 

RockPaperShotgun gave a very mixed review yesterday. Said it didn't really take off until about 7 hours into the game, no display changing or control remapping options. Which I can forgive for an indie game that costs $10, but not a full priced game. It is funny as hell
