Where are you getting these figures besides going on your word?
And I'd prefer my own transport, especially in a crowded city where public transport isn't the most pleasent experience.

I know what youre saying, it's great for local standards. I'm just saying you probably wont get any well qualified english/american natives if youre paying that amount.

 

I'm curious Jake, has PA looked into integrating the trades / sales of cryptocurrencies?

It would definitely be an interesting opportunity to consult you guys on this new emerging and fast paced market. Establishing a name for yourself now would give you guys a great advantage as I'm sure you have the consumer base and funding to be a front-runner exchange platform.

Why do all this?

Why move people to your location and incure all that additional cost when it's only going to get you burned.

Get with the times, CS jobs are often at home positions. Not only does this save on costs like yours(airfare, housing, insurance) but you also don't need to office these people and pay for locations rent,electric,internet, etc.

With the turnover rate of customer service this is simply the most logical way of doing things.

The only difference will be you wont attract people looking for a free flight.

They don't have a money transmitter license. They tried implementing this before, but promptly removed it.

 

I have lived there myself, and I tend not to pull things out of my @$$ as much as possible.

I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion that public transport isn't a pleasant experience, but I would guess you have never been to any of the "Asian Tiger" cities, and know little and less about how their infrastructure is actually quite decent. Have you seen this meme?:

You can own a car. But it is needless in many of today's metropolises/megacities. You're just wasting money, and unnecessarily dealing with traffic. Why bother?

Well... seeing as we've been around since 2000... and seeing as we've posted a near a decent growth rate each year since our re-launch in 2008...

PA is doing well, but we have a large amount of further potential to explore.

Seeing as I don't like the idea of given remote workers access to our backend which contains sensitive user information, and proprietary risk management technology, and seeing as it would be ridiculous to try and train someone in our CS requirements remotely, I don't really see this as being feasible.

In fact, it's dumb, especially when our whole platform is built on security and trust.

I'm not concerned with turn-over. As mentioned in the OP, this is an opportunity that can lead to development in other areas of opportunity. That, and finding the right people suited to an "international lifestyle", they'd likely love it.

I'm pretty good at talent recruitment. I'm not going to pick up someone I do not think would be a good fit for us, and vice versa. ^_^

Good memory. When FinCEN released their guidance on virtual currencies in March of last year, we took down BTC. Our system is well suited for this type of exchange, and compliance would be very easy for us given the systems we already have in place. Unfortunately, MSB licensing (state) is expensive and time-consuming.

I am SOOOOO sorry it took sooooo long for me to get this up! This week and last week has seen my phone exploding, and my inbox has become a civil war. Lots to do, and have gotten a fair amount of responses.
