Swapping Friends Chat?

Hi, I am new to this whole thing I under that swapping friend chats swaps gold but I am sure there is more behind it I was wandering if someone could give me a brief explanation of them and why people charge ranks for them

 

When You swap gold each fc has different ratios....such as 1m Old school for 6m RS3 or maybe u give 9m rs3 for 1m oldschool.

Lots of ccs do pricechecks and stat checks too in there irc. Basically its a risky way to transfer over fortunes between the servers.

Its basically just swapping and nothing more.
The hosts that swap make a bit of money off the swap. Thats about all.

 

Ranks are paying the owner so the owner can make the FC run and to cover a scam if the rank scam.
