it'll be max 4 or 5 teams I'd imagine, so 4/5 people answering, i'd just make it clear that one answer was enough

 

eh gl me hosting then, i have shit internet and can hardly screenshare problem-free. i don't think googling poses much of a problem though.

 

They were really fun, definitely looked forward to them, especially when they were drunk, and the theme of the quiz was homosexual references in pop culture LOL

 

If I wanted to cheat I could just use the laptop that's right beside my desktop monitor.

but someone's bound to know the answer if they're not too hard

 

If it AT LEAST limits the number of people googling, it'd be worth it, even though obviously people can easily get around it with a second computer (like I said in the post you quoted)

I'm not trying to complicate it, just suggesting an alternative to the honor code, so I'm only debating for the sake of debating.

that being said, it's unlikely that someone will have the answer to every question you ask, and it's an unfair advantage if someone gets correct answers from googling faster than the rest of us. But maybe it's fair on SOME level, since EVERYONE will probably be googling, so it might just be a moot point

 

Doesn't matter it's all fun and games. I'm about to buy my third laptop to complete my laptop fortress. I haven't quite found out what laptop to buy yet.

Having a third won't really benefit you in this just so you know....Unless you hire someone to sit at the other pcs and search while you enter the answer.... but really what's the point in the third one unless the second one is slower than the third one would be, and then what's the point of the second?
