Anyone watching the Olympics?

I just think it's incredibly boring this time around.

Looked forward to super pipe and slope-style and both disappointed... Now all i have to watch is curling which i STILL don't understand.

 

Also haven't watched it. No excitement like there was in the past for me.

 

I watch events like bobsled and ski events. But besides that i don't plan on watching any.

 

Was watching one event, I think it was bobsledding or luge. Where 2 people went down on 1 sled (1 on top of the other). Looked pretty awkward for the males. There wasn't much excitement this year tbh. I remember 4 years ago during the last winter olympics where it just seemed more exciting/popular. (Probably cause it was held in Canada). But the only event I watched back then was Hockey and whenever Sean White was competing.

 

I think the same thing honestly, not much hype nor was there much advertising... Probably because its in russia.

 

The Olympics in general are just cool to me with the constant worldwide competition for a couple weeks. I don't know anyone by name or look forward to anything in specific, but it's a cool tradition that I find enjoyable to watch every night.

 

90 % of my time spent watching the olympics is hockey related.. I'll watch highlights the odd time though.

 

Not watched a single bit, which is strange for me as I love sports... It hasn't been advertised too well, I didn't even know it was happening until about 3 days into it. London 2012 was awesome, this has flopped But, rarely does the winter Olympics compare to the summer in my opinion.

 

I only watch the snowboarding and hockey, that's all i'm really into.

 

Watched cross country skiing and some curling. Hockey is on at rediculous times of the day for us here.

I've been watching the curling, it's actually pretty tactical and interesting. I got up at 5 this morning to watch GBR v Russia and GBR v Canada in the semis is tomorrow at 10am lol. Canada yet to lose a match... gg.

As for things like bobsled or ski slalom and whatever, once you've watched one person they're all the same to me.

Enjoyed Russia v USA men's ice hockey, real intense game.

 

Also it amazes me on luge (or w/e its called) that they hit speeds of 97+ mph.

 

Yeah that shit is scary. Remember the luge death last olympics? The guy slammed head first into a beam

The majority of what I watch when it comes to Olympics is the hockey. The snowboarding and skiing events are worth watching once in a while too.

 

Never really been a fan of sports, I'll stick around and watch some of the ski/snowboard stuff though if they're doing something interesting.

 

I love watching alll those fuckin Jamaicans in the snow.

I don't mind it that much, I prefer the summer olympics because most of the events are much more physically demanding.
