Get the swaping threads out of the sales section

07 RS to EOC gold exchanges needs to be sub sectioned and removed out of the sales thread, if someone is going to the 2007 runescape gold sales thread, they don't want to have to browse through a ton of swapping threads.

If someone wants to swap, there should be it's own section for that.

So it would be:

Runescape Gold Sales:

-Runescape 3 Gold buying
-Runescape 3 Gold sales
-Runescape 2007 Gold buying
-Runescape 2007 Gold Selling
-Runescape Gold Swapping or Exchange

Some sales threads offer swapping as a method of payment method along with other payment methods, so you're saying that those would be moved to because they offer swapping? If those wouldn't be moved whose to say there wont be threads selling gold for PayPal and swapping, and never actually accept the other methods for unnamed reasons whether it be not enough trust or whatever.

If you're buying 07 gold, and you have EOC gold to pay, I think that's perfectly reasonable to belong in the buying 07 gold section.

 

They can have thread in the rwt section and the swapping section also.

I really don't like the idea of having multiple threads offering essentially the same services, especially because they increase pc. I understand people already do, but I don't agree with that either but I guess that's just marketing, getting your name out there as much as possible.

While we're at it, if we're going to create a subforum for every inconvenience go ahead and separate account sales to 1 def pures/initiate pures/zerkers/barrows pures, then make other accounts mains/stakers. Obviously I don't think that should actually be a thing, but I just don't see why you can't read the thread title, and move to the next if you don't want to swap.

I'll support this. Being someone who buys gold every so often I find it frustrating trying to find someone who's actually online and getting my hopes up and being mislead because they're a swapper and not a seller.

Really annoying, and i'm somebody who exchanges gold as well, i can appreciate it being annoying and in the way.

 

Support. It's really hard for me to scroll and click on every thread to see if they're swapping or selling. This would be a good option to fix that.

My thoughts are swapping doesn't really fit in buying OR selling for that matter and it's currently a reasonably large market. I see no downside. If we have to remove it down the road, so be it.

 

Regardless, these are two different topics.

With the upcoming legacy mode update, it's almost certain that gold swapping will be more productive than ever. Most likely will be the most active user service, if it isn't already.

The op should have gone for a stronger approach on the diversion of gold sales and swaps.

I would love to see a section like this. It would cut down on the confusion of where to post specific exchange threads.

 

It was poll'd in the staff lounge in September/October and didnt get enough Yes votes to make it happen. Just for reference.

I dont see the harm, personally. Other than a few more spam reports for misplaced threads. Would also be a good place for people to discuss & advertise swapping clans - which are a huge part of the game.

 

Support. I've always believed there should be a separate section for swapping. With the upcoming update of legacy being brought back into the game I think this would be a greater idea than before.
