How did you come to sythe?

I had an account on here in the 2006-2007 area but i tried going back to it and i couldnt find it, however the first reason i came to this site was because some guy on runescape told me to check it out!

Here i am, 7 years later i sold both of my runescape accounts and i'm staying part of the site because i like the community

I lurked around back in 08, putting off making an account. Saw a guide i wanted to try, contacted the seller via msn. Made about 200m, decided to make an account...worked my way up, became a mod, got sick, left for awhile. Now I'm back. I don't play RS anymore, but sythe isn't the craigslist of Runescape goods....chu'naa mean?

 

The site got mentioned to me by a friend, I haven't found a better place for gaming sales since.

 

I don't even remember what my name was, i tried linking me email to it but it didnt work however i'm glad im back!

 

One of my good friend's cousin told me about the site. I think he had someone do a firecape for him and I thought it was amazing, so I came to check it out.

 

I went on google to find a runescape auto miner. And I found the one sythe made years ago. And stuck around since then

I don't remember exactly how I found sythe but I know I was looking for a way to cheat in runescape lol. After trying all those stupid "cheats" that cheatcc or cheatplanet posted that never worked I most likely hit good ol' google and she led me here.

 

I came from an old black market forum which at the time was a big rival of Sythe (Free Game Forums for those who remember) where I was active for quite a while.

Eventually joined here and ended up liking it more and stayed.

 

I wanted to buy a skiller and I got scammed in the process of doing so.

 

I started out on Free Games Forums under another handle, then moved on to Sythe from there for the RS related programming back when there were people actually active in the programming subsections (I've never used the market). I spent a lot of time at Cruels which is now no more for the same reason. I also kind of remember Kaitnieks.

Edit: Frankly I'm surprised Sythe is still around, considering the others I mentioned aren't, yet they had a lot of content and action as far as programming was concerned.

 

Why'd you retire from being a mod ?

 

One of my irl buddies recommended the site to me. Been here ever since, and now I'm just starting to indulge myself in the market.

 

My cousin told me about he because he used to goldfarm and sell Rs gold here :3

 

In the RSoF in mid 2010, there were accusations against the mercher "Gregochidna06" about being a rwter (he was Classic Pker). The accusers kept on citing sythe as proof, so I decided to check this place out. A bit later, I decided to buy some gold, so I made an account.

 

Figures, first thing you did when you joined Sythe and chose that name was to buy something.

I think it was google for me, I know I lurked for a while using another forum. Decided to create an account and followed a similar fate to what Amethyst experienced, I got scammed lol.

 

A friend I met at college this semester mentioned it to me about League of Legends so I registered and kind of just stuck to it. Not too active, mostly lurk.

 

Because it's a pain in the ass. Too much responsibility for something I don't even get paid for. Literally the only benefit to being a mod is user respect, and I don't actually need any of that.

 

That's what i was thinking tbh, i figured that was the exact reason haha.
