Prices of 07 Gp crash If Pre-eoc comes back?

So pre-eoc has a huge possibility coming back, with this new poll regarding legacy mode (pre-eoc)

Anyways, what do you guys think? Do you think 07 will die off because of pre-eoc returning? the entire purpose of returning to 07 was to experience the old cb system, and now that jagex is re-adding it, what do you think will happen?

IF jagex makes the game like it was pre-eoc ( Or VERY similar to it ) Then i do think most 07 players will swap to Legacy. Because if you ask rs players.. 80% of them will say they loved the pre eoc time or like 2011. I will start playing again if this comes but im just a lil confused cuz what if a legacy player wants to kill a boss with pre eoc styles then a rs3 player comes with abilities? It will be unfair for the pre eoc one.. So im not sure bout that one but time will tell i guess.

 

I definitely see 07 prices dropping because many players will hop over. Staking is currently a big driver for people buying gold in 07, but staking will probably come back with Legacy mode so it's likely that the staking community will go back to rs3, at least a good chunk of them.

 

well true, i think they need 75% yes, and as of now its only 66% yes lol.

Pre-Eoc would destroy 07 RS. The reason a lot of people play 07 is simply because it isn't EoC

Exactly this. But they shouldnt just let people work on their 07 accounts for a year and then say we are bringing it back.

I don't plan on going back to RS3 no matter what. The team of mods who work on 07 is small, but so much better regardless. I don't think 07GP will be overly affected by anything other than speculation, which may cause a drop in the near future, and depreciation.

 

100% agree, but what is your opinion on the price of 07? You think it will drop?

 

it seems everyone is skipping the part where they said that ''you keep your rs3 skills.'' It's the same fucking game as rs3, what don't people get? just no abilities. you'll still be sharing rs3 worlds, with your same accounts. Gp should not be affected at all considering how easy it is to make 100m in rs3 (legacy included, as legacy is rs3).

 

I don't really think it will demolish 07-OSRS because it won't be exatcly like pre-eoc era. It will still have downsides because you can still dual wield. It won't be as you guys are thinking because only the old system is coming back meaning it will still have downs due to this. Its not right for players to work on their OSRS account for a year and go to waste? I think players will still have a chance on OSRS but due to this update it will defiently change their mind.

Overall its an update and most of Jagex's update ain't too bright

 

true, it wont be the same. I see a hype coming for the next week, then it'll die back down. When it comes out, there will be another 1 week hype, then it'll die back down.

 

07 gp will crash because of the conversion rate of 07 to eoc gp.

Rs3 gp will definitely rise and those who are smart and bought heaps of it now or days prior will make a lot of profit. The black market will become much more active which is a plus. Looking forward to the market change.
