EOC definitely. SOF would be up there though as well.

First it was the shitty armor graphics update and then EoC, which put the nail in the coffin.

 

That isn't true, they did say that less than 1% of players made a large amount of money from it, which is true, but those 1% made billions.

 

I would say eoc and rs3. To me it totally ruined the game.

 

The graphical updates and the fact that it's so hard for me to get to a specific interface now. They put too many things to click before reaching whichever interface you want to see.

Lots of Jagex updates now just seem to be trying to get them more $ like, bonds.

 

Hmm. I'm having a hard time choosing between EOC, the introduction of microtransactions on a large scale, or the removal of the wildy/free trade in 2007.
I'm going to have to go with the removal of the wildy though, only because of how large the bring back the wildy riots were.

Definitely eoc, was a huge change and I still don't know which I like better - rs3 or 07 >.<

 

EoC. It'll always be on first place.

 

I hated eoc and loved when they brought 07 back, but i got banned on an account i was working on and left. However i noticed a recent combat beta with revolution has me back in eoc. I hated the removal of wild because it happened on my bday but pking sucks now anyway

 

Runescape 3 and the New User Interface makes Runescape lag so badly for me now .

I dont see why people hate the graphical updates :/ i mean ive been around since rsc and seeing the game grow graphically is awesome. Just my only beef now if the community is few and far between but that can change with right people

 

The problem is the graphical updates to the armor are just sloppy and ugly as hell, in my opinion. I hate what they did to the core armors like Bronze-Rune. I hate what they did to the DFS. God armors. Barrows. Very few of the sets actually looked improved.

Also, it's weird to me that pre-graphical update armors look more similar in Runescape classic than they do in RS 3. So you haven't really had to deal with that massive of a change in terms with looks. At least not as much so with the armor update of 2012 or whenever it was.

 

evolution of combat was probably the biggest update because it changed Runescape alot. If pures were still here then it would've been better :/

I like the EOC , i just dont like what its done to the price of various armours, the top tier armours are still at a high price, which is good, but stuff like bandos and armadyl is just at a terrible price now
