Other planets with life?

Do you believe there is life on other planets, even just single cell organisms?

Why do you think there is or isn't? Or, how do you KNOW that there is or isn't?

If there is life on other planets, how do you imagine life on other planets would look?

If life was found tomorrow somewhere on another planet, would you rethink everything you know about life and your existence? How do you think the people around you would react?

 

Nope, In my opinion it would've already been found. I don't know how life on other planets would look like - I wouldn't rethink anything, I'd just be curious to learn more about it.

 

It seems pretty unlikely that there is any other advanced civilization at the current moment. I don't doubt that life has lived elsewhere but it seems far fetched to think that in the extremely short window that we've been here that there has been any other life (let alone advanced organisms) to speak of.

 

Don't know how any being would be able to accommodate the conditions the other planets supply.

The universe is a big place. There is almost certainly life somewhere.
No idea; unicellular (or something similar and relatively simple) is more common for obvious reasons.

No, I do not personally think there is any other 'intelligent' life out there. However, I do believe somewhere in the universe that there is a huge possibility that some type of life form does exist. But I do not think there is any other intelligent life forms out there, especially not greater than us.

If they ever found other intelligent life forms out there, yes, I would definitely rethink everything I've known to be true. Especially if it was the same intelligent life form as us, humans. (Same features, thoughts, etc)

However, if they ever found another intelligent life form , they most likely would be nothing like us. Their adaptations would be a lot different.
