Skrill?

I received this email this morning;



I rang them up and they say that they reviewed our website and decided that it violates their terms of service? So I looked at the terms of service and found that this is probably the reason;



Under the heading 'Prohibited transactions'

Why us and nobody else -.- They said there is nothing I can do to stop them shutting down the account.

 

Never seen or heard of this before, but interested to see how this pans out.

Do you have a high volume of incoming and outgoing payments on Skrill?

 

Interesting. Makes sense from their point of view, but it's pretty shitty for you.

Basically monitoring anyone who uses their service a lot, not something I'd do but I guess legal issues might arise on their end if they don't.

 

Not too large, I assume other gold sellers have a larger volume of Skrill payments than we do.

If you're in US they won't allow gold sales, went through this with them before. Other gold sites that accept Skrill are not from US. Which country you from?

They specified that you passed a certain limit, you must be one of the bigger guys that uses Skrill. Others might run into it later on if they don't get as many sales as you do through Skrill.

 

I was mainly referring to other big gold sellers. Rsmalls, R2P, all of MMORPG's sites and probably loads more big sellers all take Skrill, and have all been around much longer than we have.

Most sites that do Skrill are from China and they have different laws over there, R2 is from Canada and MMORPG from Netherlands, is just has to do with the laws on your country.

 

That's horrible, does that mean all funds in said account are no longer yours?

If not, then it's not too bad.

It says on the email they will released the funds within 60 days.

 

I know you can get in trouble setting up a business in the UK selling rsgp. In my counrtry you can't. This has to do with how virtual goods are discriped. In the UK it's property of the third party (jagex).

you should update playeruactions :S its slow and if someone uses paypal, then he can't use it again for a few days
