How do you make money?

I got a question for y'all. I'm currently buying cheap steam accounts from a chineese site and selling them a for a little bit more. It's not earning very well, but hey, I earn something. How do y'all make money? And whats the best method to earn money? Could you please share your thoughts, and explain them.

I manage a filmhouse irl part time at 11.50/hr, and do web dev on the side for roughly ~$500 per month of work.

 

Not to sound like a dick but GET A JOB.

I work construction, Im paid fairly well, scrap metal is abundant and nets me between 75-200++ additional income a week. I also buy and flip tools, guns or whatever I stand to make some money (within the law). You would be surprised the money you can make finding bargains at pawn shops. I paid 75 for a tool last week i sold for 250 on ebay.

Theres lots of ideas for additional income but having a steady job is above all the best way..

 

I can't get a job, I'd rather try to make money behind my screen. So anyone else who wants to share their ideas?

 

I sell rsps gp or other runescape private server items. I've made $98 in 4-5 days selling rsps items. I'm also going to get a part time Job within a month since i'll be 16.
You can sell services or gift cards. If you need quick cash i'd sell one of your accounts on a game. You can also buy rs3 or 07 gold for really cheap and sell it for a higher price; or do the same with a rsps such as soulsplit or grinderscape (risky if you get caught you can lose a lot of $). You'll have to spend a lot of money to make a lot of money if you want to do that. My final suggestion would be to do GFX if you're good at it, many people are willing to pay $5-$20 for a good signature.​

 

Well if you want to get a job behind a screen this is the right place for you

 

What is limiting you from getting a job? It really is so much better than majority of what the web can offer you and it is at a steady rate.

 

I run phone/data/security/camera cables mainly for banks. I also go in terminate the voice and data jacks, set up the server racks, instal the servers/switches/patch panels etc. . .and minor configuring of the servers. I also instal the computers, and configure those!

Other things I do for work:

Build computers
Audio jobs for banks


And probably some other shit I'm missing.

 

Your current model of reselling Chinese products is a solid method to make extra money but I think you need to look for better products to flip since you stated accounts were "not earning very well". I suggest purchasing cheap items in bulk off Chinese wholesale websites and selling them to your peers. Some products I've had great success with are hookah pens and portable phone charges. These two items(along with a few others) were in high demand within my school so I was able to make some decent money off of them. Plus the margins were quite substantial on both items.

First off, having a job is the most important factor here. You can do all the side work a person can handle, but unless you have steady income, you won't be able to stay steady for any length of time without some serious capital.

I have a job thay pays depending on how much work I do. I work in a collision repair shop, I fix crashed cars. Varies from week to week.

I sell gold and accounts as well, which isn't that great of an income unless I keep my bot farm running flawlessly. Bringing about $200-400 extra a month.

I also flip cars. Having the knowledge about them is definitely beneficial with this, but anyone can do it. Buy low, repair if needed, sell high. Depending on how many cars I buy determines how much I make. Sold one truck I made $400 on earlier this month, but about to make $1200 on this beetle I'm working on now.

 

I just do graphics at the moment, Personal requests bring me in about 300$ a month.

 

Goldfarming makes me ~400$ a month and since i live with my parents and dont spend anything i make irl bank

I'm attending uni atm, but I'm currently searching for any old job.

 

I'm 17 and i got going for me a $8 an hour job i work about 30 hours a week on top of school, I also mow/shovel driveways/lawns for $20 a pop from my neighbors. I get about $375 every two weeks for a paycheck and about another $40 for shoveling in the winter a month or about 80 - 100$ mowing in the summer.

I also have a thing going on with my friends that nets me in about $700 a month, sometimes it's way higher though.

 

OP, if you're explicitly looking for ways to make money on the web, you're going to have to learn a skill unless you're okay with making risky investments in RS gold or something. Web development coupled with graphic design could potentially earn you enough to pay for living expenses among other things (~$2000/mo will a steady flow of work). You could start a shop on Sythe too.

 

working two jobs 65 hrs a week or more keeps me steadily busy

 

I work for Ontario Power Generation (OPG) I'm a Nuclear Engineer I don't like sharing exactly how much I make I will say I work from 8am-5pm Monday to Friday and make over 50,000 a year.

 

lol nuclear engineer only makes ~5k a month ?

 

12 months in a year bud.

And I make cash by working a job, and attempting to become a bit more trustworthy via this site for some extra side income.
