    Hey everyone,

    I recently made a suggestion that recommended we implement the SytheChat into a chat bar similar to Facebook.
    Until that is addressed, Syed created a temporarily solution to make it easier and intuitive to use SytheChat, for Google Chrome users.


    New Alternative to Extension
    I've created a webpage (hosted by Syed) you can access here that will have the chat as an overlay you can toggle and move around.

    What's Chrome?
    It's a web browser you can download.

    What's SytheChat Chrome Extension?
    It's a button added to your Chrome browser that includes SytheChat as an easy to use overlay rather than a pop-up. You can open and close it at any time, on any website.

    What's the purpose?
    You can quickly hop on the chat to send someone a message, rather than having to keep the page open or opening the chat page up through the URL.

    Ready to use it?

    Note: You have to go to chrome://settings and disable malware protections, and then drop the .crx file into chrome://extensions

    Known Issue
    It closes off if you click anywhere, and you have to reload it. We're working on making it stay open.
    It's also cut off and pretty shitty.    ​

    Nice utility, I'll be checking it out soon. I've been in the Sythechat, and it's looking pretty decent so far. Just need more folks in there regularly.

    I've created a more convenient webpage here.

    For obvious security reasons, I recommend you never directly log into Sythe on this website. Log in on Sythe, and then use it as you wish.
    This is in case Syed's website is ever hacked.
