Help me not get scammed

Been scammed twice already in two days on this site. Can you guys give me reputable sellers?

 

What sellers you need ? jewery,iStuff,runescape gold,software ?
and when someone scam you,there is section about those things. you should use it sometime to report the persons who scammed you.

 

Sounds like you need to be more cautious.


Look at peoples vouches, join date, and post count to help determine if they are reputable or not. Use a Middleman from the middleman section and try not to accept paypal or do any huge trades all at once. Just go in small increments if that makes you feel more comfortable.

Make sure you always request a private message from someone before doing a trade (to ensure their skype hasn't been hacked) and record/take screenshots of all your trades in case a scam occurs.

If you use proper discretion during trades the amount of times you get scammed is going to be drastically reduced.

 

Look at their vouches, look if its really them youre talking to and of course request a pm!

Basicly all of the above should be done before trading

 

Well a user with a vouch of Superman scammed me so vouches aren't to be trusted.

 

But they surely help you alot, cmon having 10-30+ vouches must mean anything right?
or you trust in:
-a newcomer with 0 vouches

the same as

-a guy that as some vouches and not a newcomer?


Also Sound please update your thread (reporting the guy that scammed you), some mod asked you more info. Please provide everything so none is going to get scammed by him like you did

This, and always make sure you get the other user to send you a PM including their skype name, the amount the trade is for, and copy paste a part of the skype chat into the PM. Using a MM never hurts either, you can find some trustworthy free MM here, http://www.sythe.org/middleman-forums/
