SytheChat Bug Report Thread

These are all individual bugs, after encountering one I closed my browser and reopened it.

1. "www.sythe.org/chat/" goes to the chat launch page and "www.sythe.org/chat" does not go to the chat launch page. Is it possible to make both of them link to the chat launch page?
   
2. If I enter my room, I can edit the configuration settings. But if I click back into another room, then return to my room, I no longer see the button to edit the configuration settings.
   
3. I created the room "supermandice" and added a password and made it so that users need to enter a password to get into the room. I then left the room. Now when I try to join the room from the webclient, there is no option to enter in a password, and I end up with this after I click join: http://puu.sh/5EotC/e601fa6aed.png.
   
4. I logged into the sythechat. Then I disconnected using the lock button at the top right. Then I reconnected, and this glitch with "No Participants" occurred: http://puu.sh/5EoLg/6106e5d7f4.png, http://puu.sh/5EoMm/07d6387a06.png, etc (No Participants shows up at each tab) - this happens whenever i disconnect and reconnect, I use Chrome

 

If a user is in the chat when they get banned from sythe, they're not banned from the chat unless a moderator does it manually.

 

SytheChat won't even open for me, opening the chat just closes my browser page. I'm using Safari on a Mac.

 

I try and open sythe chat, and a new window pops up, but instantly goes away for me as well.

 

I don't know why but it says authencation failed when I try to login to the chat.
I go to sythe.org/chat and then click "open chat" then there's my name and some password which is longer then my password. I click login with that and it it says authencation failed and when I try with my password as I login with Sythe it dosn't work either.

Do I need to be a donator or something to use the chat?

Anyways I think this is a great feature on Sythe just which it worked for me. :c

edit: I read Matthews thread and it said that you need to be donator but after the beta is over will it be availble for everyone? =)

 

When I invited someone to the lobby, I entered their name and pressed enter and got this



but when I enter their name and click OK it works. Minor thing

 

I can't connect using Google Chrome on my mac, but using Firefox or Safari works.

 

Happens to me as well, Rich.

 

Get "unrecognized error" when trying to connect to a conference room via a third party client. Regular chatting works fine. ( Tried both psi as well as pandion)

 

same thing happening to me now, type http://sythe.org/chat/ into your browser and join from there.

 

When i try to connect i get "Authentication Failed" message.

 

I disconnected and now I can't reconnect because of this error. I also can't use a 3rd party app either, when I am encountering this problem.

 

For some reason I can't connect, it worked perfectly until now

 

Nothing is even happening when I click the 'connect' button :\.

 

Having the same problem as those above. Unable to connect from the sythechat chrome extension, web browser version, or third party client any longer.

Authentication failed as said above, is SChat currently down?
