Hello Sythe, I would like to request a High Pardon after two years of being banned from here. I apologise in advance if any details are vague as it has been a while. I want to keep this as short and relevant as possible.

So let me begin by admitting to what I did; Sold a Runescape account to two people (one offsite and one onsite respectively) The first time was on RSBOT through Paypal, long story short the guy disputed the $55 paid days after purchasing, stealing the GP. I recovered the account immediately and listed it back up here for sale, It was purchased by TerrainMarine very shortly after for 40M RSGP while my paypal dispute was ongoing. I believe the account was then recovered by the first buyer (He had literally everything details-wise, from every membership purchase I had ever made to my home address.)

after seeing Terrain's scam report I realised I had ballsed up by selling the account before it was really secure and fit to resell, and that i'd be held liable. I tried recovering the account again to get back in control of it (with the intent of giving it back to TerrainMarine) to find it was locked and later permanently banned for RWT. I gave it a couple of days to see how my paypal dispute would play out, and as you guessed I lost. At the time I felt totally done by, having lost a $40+ account and my money. I stupidly tried to blame TerrainMarine to Gohan who I was moderately friendly with on Sythe at the time, saying he had sold the account or something and it was his fault as I just didn't have the money at the time to pay him back. Ultimately I was banned, with Gohan stating ''Banned him for now, let's hope when he disputes, we can work this out.'' I chose to just leave it at that because I was sick of the amount of hassle involved in selling accounts and virtual items.

Ultimately, what I done was incredibly poor. I should never have sold anyone an account I knew wasn't safe in the first place, and to not refund Terrain was uncharacteristically selfish of me. I lied to Sythe staff to try and get myself out of trouble and looking back totally regret it. I really loved this community and would like to again be a part of it. I felt in my own way I contributed not just in the market but in non-market discussions and believe I could do so again. In the two years i've been away I've got into university to study Economics, gotten my own apartment and however much trying to avoid cliches feel much more mature and level headed.

I would be very grateful for a second chance on Sythe and would accept any limitations that come with this. I've been trying to get in contact with Terrain for the past 2 weeks on both Skype and MSN without any luck, and would be more than happy to refund him if I am able. Thank you for reading.

 

I'll support this, although once Terran does become active again you would still have to pay him back the money he paid for the account.

 

I appreciate the fact that you took the time to post a well thought out pardon. I am with Frenzy on this and if the user should come back, you will have to pay them.
