    rs3 dying?

It's actually micro-transactions. Don't forget more people play rs3 than oldschool. There are a lot more bots on oldschool than rs3. The moderation of catching bots improves day in and out. I don't see them giving up anytime soon.

    rs3 dying?

How about no. More people play rs3 than 07, so why would that be the best option, taking away hard earned years from players who have been loyal and still are.
It would have died out eventually anyways, the updates just sped it up a bit. Release of OSRS is what really killed RS.
Wrong yet again. There is usually 10k players online on 07, with 70% of those at a guess being bots, as the bot culture is huge on 07. There is around 25k players online usually on rs3, so with 50% of them being bots due to the players that have stuck it out all this time legitimately, there is prolly 12.5k legit players. That's more legit players on RS3 than there is players & bots on OSRS. So if OSRS is what keeps rs3 alive, I'm assuming that RS3 must make a loss?

    rs3 dying?

I agree with IDB, but it is still quite saddening that I see more people on 07 servers than rs3 servers most of time, even if they are bots. W301 is usually full in 07, however I havent seen w1 or w2 in rs3 full in a long time...

In my opinion, it is dying, but I really hope it doesn't :(

    rs3 dying?

As a game developer, and marketing major; getting rid of the eoc is not the answer, no one ever became popular by going back to something boring and old. I mean sure people might play it for a nostalgic trip, but it's useless in terms of face value. I don't have the desire to grind for months anymore, nor do I have any time for the cartoon graphics.

The sole point of failure of Jagex is their inability to change and keep up with the demands of gamers. The game is OLD and Outdated. You don't hear anyone saying "Man I can't wait to go mine some rocks."

People changed, the market changed, Jagex didn't. They are irrelevant in todays gaming industry other than for the few fan boys left.

What I would give to buy the concept from Jagex, and develop it into a proper, fit, and modern game with the original concept.

As per the EOC, RS3 if they wanted it to work they should have gone full out and ditched the current platform.
