How do u feel about the removal of gambling?

I feel the same as you!

I loved gambling but oh well we have to move on!

 

I was sort of saddened by it seeing as It's what brought me back into the game after a couple years of quitting and I owned/co-owned small flowering fc's such as safe dicing and rainbow one. the removal of it just meant I had to refund all my ranks which I did without any questions. I suppose it's a good thing in a way though, a lot less spamming at the GE and no one gets viciously cleaned by scammers.
The only reason I still hang around on rs3 now is clan wars, hopefully they don't remove that too.

 

I really loved gambling on rs. Hate to see it gone.

 

Gambling was fun in small amounts, but I never tried large amounts due to scams and wanting to keep my money. I was pretty sad to see it go, as it was quite fun doing small amounts.

It's better for the game even though I did it up until a few months before the removal.

The worlds were actually full. Skilling in Grand Exchange was fun because I could see people lose or make millions by the flower bots.

 

I kind of have to agree with this, Jagex should just implement an NPC where people gamble and take 10% of the trade both ways. Would be a GP sink and a nice addition to the game.

 

I never made any money off it so i honestly don't care too much. Kind of don't like that it ruined a lot of the newer rs players.

 

Glad it's gone. It drove the focus away from the actual game and it's content. The advertisements and spammers were also annoying to see.

 

Gambling was frowned upon by a lot of people in the game and also by Jagex (obviously) but personally I didn't mind it, I've never tried it and have never hosted anything to do with gambling, but gambling hasn't been completely removed as there duel arena is still there, even if that's not the same.

I think if gambling was brought back I'd try out being a host.

 

I'm definitely a punter, hated this update.

Used to gamble a lot before they removed it, so I'm glad it was removed tbh, otherwise I would just spend 90% of my time on rs doing it..

 

I miss gambling. Never hosted seeing how I preferred staking but I did do a few 50/50 bets every now and then. Good times.

The thing I miss most about the dicing era would be that Jagex didn't really take actions against RWT. That's the impression I had at the time based on personal experience and the fact that I got friends that were selling a lot of GP through direct trades from their mains to mule accounts owned by re
-sellers.

To this day, I still struggle to understand why they removed dicing but allowed people to plant flowers for 1 year and 6 months or so before nerfing flowers.
