Quick Paypal Question

I've research on about Paypal and there are many answers which confuse me.

My questions are:

1: How can I tell if the payment is "Paypal Gift"
2: Is there any fees with "Paypal Gift", such as does it just show up but doesn't charge the buyer when they confirm payments?
3: If a buyer send payment through Paypal Gift funded by their "Paypal balance", would they be able to get their money back? If so, how can I do to fight it?
4: How long would I have to wait until I'm 100% safe aka how much time does a buyer have to dispute an item?
5: Does a "Paypal US-unverified" account matter?

Any addiction info would be appreciated. Thank you Sythe community.

 

1. I'm pretty sure when received by you, it will say sent as a gift from so and so.

2. No, gifts are free.

3. Yes, they can chargeback. If it's an Authorised transaction (stolen paypal account), you will rarely ever be able to win such a dispute. However, if it's a normal chargeback, if you were to provide details of the trade (shipping #, transaction type, screenshots etc), you can generally come out on top.

4. I'm not 100% sure on this. Your best bet would be to transfer said PP funds to your bank.

5. If you're unverified, your withdrawal and sending limit will be limited. After a few transactions Paypal will require valid proof of whom you say you are, i.e, bank statement and ID.

 

Let's just assume that I was able to transfer my Paypal fund to my bank and the buyer decided to do a unauthorized charge. What will happen?

I've also check my Paypal and it does not say if it's a gift nor a regular payment. Any other suggestions?

 

If your Paypal balance is 0, they will take the funds from there and you will seea 'Negative Balance'. If you do have a balance to cover it, however, they will remove the amount from you and place it in holding until the judgement is passed. If you have a Negative Balance, it's more or less the same as being limited. You'll have to clear up the Negative if you want to send money again. Do note that your Bank & Cards wont be able to get removed after a little while of Negativity, and if you dont clear it within the stipulated time frame, they will close your account and hire a collention agency to clear the tab.

 

If it's sent as goods or services it'll have a button on the paypal order status which says "issue refund".

Nevertheless, all paypal payments can be chargedback regardless.

 

Umm.. so I assume all these fuss about getting paid by "gift" and funded by "paypal account balance" is just a huge lie? Ugh. Blah, what to do. Anyone has stories of winning a chargeback/unauthorized lol?

 

To date, I've had 19 charge-backs thrown against me. 17 won, 2 lost.

 

If you accept payments as gift+you ask them to send you a picture of their ID card you will win 95% of disputes i have never been charged back hope i could help
