Deleted posts

Yeah, now my vouch thread looks ugly as I Requested Roary to remove my dicing vouches from sig as it's not allowed anymore.

 

I support. It's unclean, and would be fine in just the Sandbox. Even though I still don't like the whole idea of dicing.

 

This. It's just silly for everyone to see deleted posts.

By the way: The suggestions deleted post says: "Sticky: If you lock a thread please move it to approved or denied. D:"

Not that anyone listens.

So what? All this will do is make it easier to ensure people are following our time limit rules for delete-bumping - competitors will report violations because they can actually see them now.

I still see the deleted thread in the Spam forum and my own deleted thread in suggestions (which may be normal).

Wow, there's a major problem Big Rich. You can't see deleted posts in the donors lounge anymore -,-. I've probably been scammed countless times.

 

I hopped on this account to see what the other regular users are seeing.

In the section 'Community General,' I can see the deleted post icon on the right side of the Thread Title - http://puu.sh/4bWGL/1156aafcf6.png. However, when I go into the thread, I cannot see the deleted posts at all (can't even tell that posts have been deleted).

In the section 'Suggestions,' I can see that there is a deleted sticky - http://puu.sh/4bWIM/ab54aa6988.png. I can also see the same deleted post icon on the right of the thread title - http://puu.sh/4bWK1/9f59c9e8f3.png. However, when I enter a thread with a deleted post icon, I cannot see any deleted posts (can't even tell that posts have been deleted).

In summary, I believe the problem is that users cannot tell that there are deleted posts within a thread by simply looking in the thread.

It's not aesthetically pleasing, and in generally looks terrible. Not sure why it's as so. Referring to Supermans pictures above.

 

So when is this getting fixex? Still nothing happened. Shouldnt be much of a problem to fix.

 

I haven't heard whether this has been pushed to be done or not. Guess we will need to wait for an admin [mainly Govind] to reply on this.

 

I already talked with n4n0 about this a while ago. He said that Sythe will have to disable it himself. I then PMed Richard about it, but I suppose he hasn't seen the PM. It's probably not at the top of his priorities list right now. If you think it should be, please voice your concern here - if more people post that they're really having an issue with it, it's likely to move up on the priority list.

At an aesthetic point of view, it's disgusting. Doesn't affect me though, can be useful at times too.

 

It is extremely ugly. might cause newcomers to leave this forum tbh
