Free Membership after giving bond

I have recently sold some bonds for 07 gp, i logged on today and noticed i had a extra 30 days. Looked at my rs messages and saw this:

lol yeah I got it after gifting a bond to one of my other accounts.

 

Same. Then I got banned on that account lol.

 

So if you buy a bond from the site and sell it to someone, there is a chance of getting a months worth of membership?

I logged into my f2p mule that just camps GE buying bonds, decided to update the GE and saw "27 days of membership left" and "last login 10 days ago"

was a total wtf and thought I actually cracked 2 bonds on my dude, but that didn't make sense since my last login was 10 days ago...then was sitting there like wtf do bonds expire and automatically apply after X amount of days?

I believe you have to give 2 at a time, hence the 30 days
