My TWC

Hello, and thanks for taking the time to read this.

I'll start by explaining how this situation came about. A week ago today I was browsing Sythe, Tip.It, Stackoverflow and various other boards while sat at work. I'm a Frontend Web Developer, and last week I had a long week.

Anyway, I was tired and busy with PHP/Magento work when I came across the aforementioned thread. I had literally just answered a similar question on Stackoverflow regarding .htacess and URL manipulation to hide the .html/.php extension on websites.

It honestly did not occur to me that this user was asking about Phishing. The name should have rung some bells, it didn't. Fishing probably just made me think of the skill, Fishing. That is, if I even looked at his username. I didn't pay much attention to the url he provided as an example, if I had - I probably would have realised this was similar, if not the same, as the RSOF.

Anyway, the reason why I am disputing/asking for a pardon is that I am NOT black hat myself. I did not deliberately aid this user. He could have googled the question and found a lot more information than I provided.

Admittedly I should have thought more carefully before posting, but everyone makes mistakes. I feel like I shouldn't be so heavily penalised in this situation.

Perhaps I don't fully see the seriousness of what I did, maybe it was really bad. I don't know. If you read this n4n0, can you explain why this is such a big deal? Sorry for being a derp haha. All I know is, I want to continue using Sythe normally. I don't like users assuming I am a scammer, when in fact I have bought and sold accounts and gp on up to two occasions with no problems.

You actually need to get 5 supports in order for the TWC to be removed. This needs to happen within 14 days from the first post of the dispute.

I wouldn't mind a removal either. Seems you didn't intentionally try to do anything black hat. Everyone makes a mistake or two.

Try a hard refresh (CTRL + F5) Both Dave and Roary had this issue I think. Might take a couple of attempts. Not quite sure what's happened, caching issue perhaps?

 

Ah, thanks. I figured this was a problem on Sythe's end, not mine.

Anyhow, I fixed it now and I'm gonna go and support this.
Try and ask n4n0, as he is the one to initially place the TwC.
