I have albums from the above. But I also have plenty of singles from various artists; Anna Nalick, Kate Havnevik, Gotye, Jack White, Neutral Milk Hotel, Led Zeppelin.

Those are some good bands/acts. There's some folk, some rock, and some pop in there. I don't really check genres much, I just find a song I enjoy and look up some other songs from the artist(s), and if I like their shit I download their album(s), or if you're lazy, just download the song that sparked the lookup. Hasn't failed me yet.

Honestly, there's music being played everywhere, in movies, in TV shows, in your friends' houses. You just gotta listen and find what you like.

 

tbh I have found I like pretty much everything from heavy metal to country.

Love snow patrol and led zeppelin, as well as lana del ray and imagine dragons, will look up the rest at home! Thank you for the list!

 

For sure anything that Jack White has done or produced. He is probably my number 1 musical influence. Modest Mouse is awesome. The Avett Brothers and Deer Tick, they call them alt-country but they're more like punk/country/bluegrass. I would PM you my spotify list but it's mostly blues/jump/swing/folk.
