Just un presented his pardon, provided proof nobody apart from the dupers were punished and provided proof multiple times karl banned him based on a pm. Now he's staying banned because some people on staff don't like him. He didn't even lie to be honest, when I figured out he was duping I asked him if it was the crucible dupe and he said no, after I asked him if it was duped he told me it was. The staff asked him the exact same question asking if it was duped by crucible he said no, but he didn't reply saying it was duped. He could have handled it better but at the time he wasn't the only one duping and definitely wasn't the only one selling duped gold.

Maybe the next time he posts a pardon it will actually be voted on based on the facts of the situation rather than the personal grudges people hold against him.

Irony in this is that Karl is banned for owing Arcus like 5B.

When Viou was banned you mentioned that knowingly buying stolen goods can result in a ban. And everyone said that every big trader must have bought gold that was obtained illegitimately. But there was no proof that they knew.

The issue is in the report when trax's account was banned whilst in r2p's possession, R2P posted that he did some research on Trax and that Trax was a black hat member. R2P also said that the gold trax was selling him was most likely obtained illegitimately. I feel like R2P was trying to avoid paying, or at least paying half where the 2 parties would share the loss.

When Trax got his account unbanned, it had all the gold in it. R2P still proceeded, while knowing and previously said himself that the gold was most likely obtained illegitimately, to buy the gold off him.

In short, r2p bought gold he claimed was most likely stolen.

R2P's defense is if he was expected to pay for it when the account was banned, he would be expected to pay for it if it got banned again. So it was only fair he bought the gold to prevent this possible future scenario.

 

If I hadn't taken quick action with the Traxar trade, I would be out $750 and he'd have all the GP on his account. As for the dispute between us, I was arguing that Traxar should have split responsibility in the trade. I made my case. Everyone is entitled to make their case and have a third party rule on the decision. This is how disagreements are handled. Just because you don't agree with my arguments doesn't mean I should have no opportunity to present them.

It's not like I was refusing to pay him either. I just told him I wanted us to have it ruled on by a third party.

He knew that traxar had blackhat activities before they agreed to tradr the gp (aftersomehow getting the account banned with the gp in it) and you can clearly see after his 15th post (after he states he knows traxar's a hacker) he agrees to buy the gp.




edit; in short, r2 knew he was a hacker with blackhat activities, he just didn't report him. the trade commenced after r2 tried to blackmail him via stating the above quote.

and when he tried to black mail him he stated what accounts he had on hackforums, meaning he did see his threads/posts or else he wouldn't try to blackmail him with it.



Well in short, there isn't and can't be 100% proof what he hacked/phat hacked etc etc, but the fact hat he was ratting(trixar) and he still bought gp off him, in my opinion still clearly shows he bought hacked gp

 

your also missing the point of viou's case. He was selling a guide on how to avoid being charged back by hackers/phishers when you buy their gold. It was taken out of context and he still remains banned. If all other gp sellers r getting a week to clean up there acts then viou deserves his 2nd chance as well. Viou was a great member here, he had 100's of vouches and handled over 20k+. We just want the same rules applied to everyone.

Un just dude was banned for lying to staff about the gold dupe. If you look at the reports etc. You can see he's asked if he obtained the gold through a certain dupe. he states no, because he was using another dupe. Its not that he lied he just re-framed from releasing all the information. Karl had a gambling issue and owed arcus 2b. He asked for knowledge about the dupe. Un just dude refused to tell him. Karl got pissed and banned him. I think it was more about the fact that he was making bils and everyone wanted in on it.

There's only 2 reasons I think R2Pleasent should be banned, and they're both pretty old. First reason is making my worker void his contract by working for him, and the second is the stupid 50B trade he did all wrong, purposely or not, and cost the guy 20 grand in loss.

The case I brought against him was moved to the staff lounge, pretty much a private court, and dismissed, so whatever.

Wouldnt you back out of the deal if you believe and told people that the car you were supposed to buy was most likely stolen? And buying a stolen car is punishable on Sythe, well with gold.

R2P also says that trax refused to confirm the account was unbanned with all the gold in it, which is why he thought if he didnt buy it, the guy could just claim he was banned. Basically he was threatened by a possible scam, and the trade could have been avoided if a staff was involved.
