To the admins in charge of the front page layout changes. Not only has it been given an ergonomic view, but I've noticed little images are slowly replacing the blue dots. Little things make a big difference to the look of the site, even the curved boxes for posts etc look sweet.

But yeah I agree, the site is looking much better

 

Hopefully they looked into the legality of using logos that may be trademarked or copyrighted before replacing those icons.

If it's kosher, then yea, good move, small steps.

 

They layout of the site in general is better in my opinion, these small changes help the community grow too.

 

Yerp, I agree. The recent changes and continued assiduous effort by the whole staff team is blatantly clear.

 

When I saw the few icons, it sort of brightened up the place, rather than the dull image you get when entering sythe. Also makes it easier for new users to find a section.

Great job on this.

 

I've also noticed, that at the top of the front page, under rules, there is a redirect to the market sections.

 

Sites looking great hope it won't get too dynamic but, i love the simplicity of this forum

 

Good work, this will liven up the look of the site, and make it easier to find the sections without reading all the titles for new users. I think the rules section should stand out from the other sections as new users don't read the rules.

 

I just noticed the changes when I logged on this morning. Looks fantastic, can't wait until we can get more on the index.

 

I'm thinking he means more changes, rather than more sections, there's too many sections in my opinion, it gets confusing.

But he could mean more sections, I don't see why he would though.

 

Loving the changes they really give the site some extra color and make it easier to find certain sections. Thanks for implementing this Richard.

 

I was thinking more in the lines of having icons for more of the sections. Take for example having a chat bubble used for general discussion, or a lightbulb for something for all.

Looks good though.

Wait, there's actually been a thread where everyone has got along fine :O.

However, the logo's are coming along great, good job to anyone who is entering them.

 

I agree I love the new logo's being replaced with the boring old dull look of the blue globes. This site needs a new slick of colour on it.

 

The site looks much nicer with the new features. I won't deny though, I miss the globes due to the fact that when they turned blue I knew that there was a new post in that forum/subforum. Is it possible that the icons can be greyed, and then coloured when there's a new post in the forum? Or is it too much of a hassle + won't look that crash hot?

 

What theme are you using? There are grey icons also for when there hasn't been any more activity in a forum/sub-forum. Are you not able to see them?
