The world is so fucked up

Thread is serious, might have it moved as anticipating the spam forums isn't going to be the right area for this thread. I'm not going to reread or correct anything I write, just going to type as I'm thinking

TL;DR: Re-read title.

I'm actually a pretty selfish person, not going to lie. I never have had to or wanted to really think about other people, been quite happy in my own little world where I cater for my own need without having to really think about other people's. Having said this, it means I've never really been a deep thinker. Sure I think far too much all of the time, but not really about the bigger picture.

9/11 (10/11 as of posting). Of course we get the same programs talking about the same thing again, and the same arguments that the US get butthurt over 9/11 but bombed Hiroshima etc etc... But for once I actually decided to pay close attention to everything that was being said, not just watching from interest. I've added the current stuff in Syria, North Korea, dictatorships... all the things which when you look at it you just look at the planet and think how messed up everything really is.

I can't actually explain what I'm trying to say as I'm still thinking and keep asking myself questions which can't be answered, meaning this thread at the end will make no sense what so ever. Sure, we all know the world is messed up, we shrug it off and move on. But it hasn't been until I've actually put time aside and really think about everything that I realise exactly HOW fucked up everything is.

I could keep writing for the next hour as my mind is in overdrive at the moment. Trying to find what the real message from what I've been thinking about actually is, maybe I just want to become something better than what the world is becoming. Back to the start again, me thinking about me.

It seems like most of the answers I get, and the arguments I persue always end with 'because thats how it is.". I think if we organized we could have a pretty successful revolution - hopefully geared towards becoming more natural and less manufactured. But we were raised with all these conveniences that I doubt we'd know how to live without.

Would you even last a year without access to grocery stores?

 

As I said, I've always just known that and moved on. Never really though about what my role is in it all though. Purpose and shit.

In all honesty the world is indeed fucked up or out view of it an our life is. The planet itself is not fucked as some people may believe. As soon as a natural disaster or human warfare wipes us off the earth it will repair like we never existed just like other catastrophic events. That's the messed up part in my opinion.
