Trade With Caution - amendments

When I first came across a user with the TWC-rank, I honestly thought the title ment something like 'Trades With Caution', meaning that it was a safe user and would take caution while doing any kind of trade.

It might be a better idea to implement the TWC-rank in another way, i.e. not as a rank but perhaps something more similar to a banned user with his username crossed.

OR have some sort of mouseover-text while hovering the ranks. Pretty simple to add some CSS/JS to code this

TWC is a clear enough warning to trade cautiously with said user. There is no need for change.

 

My TWC is beast no support, although if you look at my recent vouches people still let me use direct Paypal/go first/let me apply memberships by logging into their accounts... I don't think TWC is misleading considering how easy it is to get one (self vouching or requesting vouches for no reason/weird trade prices/pretending to be a girl/lying to staff... Etc) .... TWC doesn't mean you shouldn't trade with that person but maybe suggest using an MM etc, TWC doesn't make someone a danger to anyone if that was the case they would be banned...

 

hmm but it is a rank which made me once think it was a PERK.

If TWC is the way you describe it then they might as well remove it as a whole, cause the way I think it should be is that you should always be using a MM. Having a TWC for me mostly means I should avoid that person in a trade, unless its compensated by a large donatoramount/other rank.

They give out a TWC to a person cause it's something you should consider in trade.

 

Having a twc doesnt mean dont trade the person. Else you'd never gain any vouches and you'll never be able to get it removed.. it means take extra CAUTION.

If you think a twc is a perk then you're dumb. do you not see the red and yellow warning signs? how the FUCK could that possibly show a sign of trust?

If it was a perk it would say 'Trades with caution'.

Well that's the common misconception, and people do get dettered to trade with those whom have a TWC but i was a $100 donor before my TWC and was getting trades after i got TWC hell i was getting people asking me to do trades when i was banned, I think it's on us to determine whether or not someone is trusted, a TWC merely suggests you should look in deeper.

apparently im having a different opinion on rank-images than others around here. Not mentioning that i'm being called dumb for not seeing the exclamation marks as a clear warning, while they're often right next to images that indicate good (donators/staff/svu) rather than bad

 

The banned rank also appears there, do you also misinterpret that?

Also, lol, ThePrestigedMuzza, shut the fuck up, the TWC rank isn't just handed out willy-nilly, you earned that shit, stop making yourself look like a victim. A TWC rank just means the person has done some shady shit and you should be extra-vigilant, basically treat that person as if he's a newcomer with 0 posts, and take the necessary precautions given the circumstances.

 

People think it's fine the way it is, as do I.
Also, the exclamation mark (!) isn't on any other rank on Sythe besides the banned rank... It's also a universal sign for danger.
