Banned for botting, didn't bot LOL

So after I started 07 on my main I quickly got 99 cooking, 99 fletch, 99 woodcut, and 99 fishing, all legit no bots used WHAT-SO-EVER.

I was still fairly low combat so I decided to kill yaks and watch a movie (again, legit). I'm playing and I lost connection..boom account has been disabled..

Has this happened to anyone else lol? It's only a 2 day ban but still I haven't even botted on this account and all my botting is done on a VPN.

 

Was it disabled due to botting?

But on topic no it has not happen to be whenever my first account was disabled it showed me a ban reason and how long it was disabled for.

 

Well maybe because the place you are in (yaks) is a high ban rate and someone reported you/they banned you themselves it might be because of than but anything else you should of not got banned.

 

Maybe you should stop botting! JK.

Well that sucks, if you're being completely honest. Yaks has a high ban rate on botting sites, so that's one of the reasons you may have been wrongly banned. It is rare that Jagex ban accounts wrongly...

 

if they wanna ban bots all they have to do is go pc/w1 varrock/any yew tree

 

I can imagine Jagex banning every account based on your input, because they're intent on becoming bankrupt, as if it's their goal or something.

 

Well, it's not like runescape is as popular as it was at it's peak.

 

I wasn't using a bot client, I was using the official RS client.

 

I would just like to say that anyone who apparently gets banned for botting claim they 'never botted', though you may not have, I think of it as unlikely. As mentioned, you do have some sort of third party software tied down on your hwid, maybe jagex can somehow trace back on that if they've gotten any smarter (Doubt it)

 

If you played on a bot client or something that may have caused it. Unlucky mate!!!

usually 2-day's are bot busting (Go check , if it says bot busting it was a Jmod)

your watching T.V as you said, when your looking at t.v that means your NOT watching your screen....Jmod runs up and talks to everyone in there, you ignore jmod for 5seconds+ and he temp-bans you..... that's how I got first and only macro ban on my main. sorry to hear tho. be very careful now

 

Yeah it was a bot busting moderate ban if it was a 2 day ban meaning it was a manually placed ban by one of the "bot busting" teams.

Lame, probably cause you were watching TV. Dumbass Jagex
