Sythe Web Development Suggestion

Idk maybe it is just because I'm new to the site but I have a lot of difficulty navigating through the site and finding what I'm looking for. Some ideas on what I feel would be a better way to make the site more user friendly would be.

- Perhaps deleting Forum sections that aren't really in use and don't clutter up space.
- Combine similar Forum sections so that it will free up space when searching for the forum you need.
- maybe change the Forum layout and the colors so they compliment each other. So that it is easier to read through the forum and find what you need.

- Note that I think the site is very well put together and beautiful in it's own way and I mean no disrespect to the person who coded it.

When a section isn't active, it is deleted. When sections can be combined, they are combined. The other-games section debate is good example. Right now Dial is making an attempt to get the layout, but if you have a specific suggestion let him know.

If you have specific suggestions, please post them in the section. Happy to see an early involvement with the community, it's nice to have more community>market people.

 

Well I can give a much more deeper insight on a layout and how forums could be merged together later tonight but I have to go soon.

Richard, will you please implement the section changes I've asked for in the SL? They are all there to clarify the site layout and make things more accessible for new users.

The technology forum was decently active. Can it be placed back on the front page with programming as a subsection (you could even merge the two programming subsections into one)? The section could also be renamed to Technology / Computing (or something similar).

Sport/Health & Fitness and Assets and Investment could just be removed.

Music could be reduced to a single forum (just remove the subsections).

Then put Music and TV / Movies back on the front page and you've still removed 3 front page sections.

 

Support the technology section being moved back onto the front page, every day its personally one of the first things I check/its really pretty active. If we bury that I think the section will die :/

 

Please put tech back on front page or at least not under something for all. It has to be one of my favorite sections and it'll just be lost where it currently is.

 

Music should be pushed back to the front page, and rather than General/Off Topic having a fuckload of subsections, they should just be combined.

Subsections that specific don't really help anyone.

 

It's back with programming as a subsection.
