That would essentially be selling ranks which no higher staff would approve. Those ranks are earned, not bought.

 

All well, just a thought. Maybe they'll take it into consideration if they're ridiculously hard to get. If not, no problems. This is still a great suggestion nonetheless.

 

That's the point. If a point system were to be implemented an entirely new reward system would have to be created.

Great idea, i would say this'd be easy to implement? Im not sure though. Would definitely increase activity on lesythe.org

 

Sounds hard to code, however if staff are willing to do this 100% support, great idea and I'm sure this will encourage more people online

I think it'd be cool to have community-voted fun ranks specific to the system, so as not to devalue the existing rare ones

Also seems like a great idea, minus the mini-rank shop. I like they are semi-difficult to find, and you have to trade/buy them off other members. kind of makes collecting them fun ! support minus that part.

 

Bump this up, speaking to Sellerman and I_D_B now about this and was shown a similar site to sythe.org with 6k+ members online at a time, we could really learn from them as they have the same kind of system as this.

Just a thought, because even if we don't like to admit it, Sythe is dying slowly.

I really like this. The idea of implementing a pure Sythe currency would be good. The only hard part is balancing the amount of points earned by say 'donating' or by post count. If you get 1000 for donating but 100 for 1000 posts, its un-balanced. This will take some work and math and stuff, but I would support it.
