(LoL Market Section) Split off "referrals" from "Riot points/gifts/referrals"

Simple suggestion; Create a new section within the LoL Market for Referral services. There are a ton of threads about them in the above section, with more arriving every day, and it would make more sense to have a separate section for them for ease of use and also in order for the "Riot points/gifts" section to be clearer for buyers/sellers.


Additionally, there may come a time when it would make sense to have a separate section for "Skins", as these are a popular trading object within the game fanbase.

I think this is a good idea, it makes it easier for people to find what they are looking for.

 

I'll throw my support for the idea as well. It may make things a little bit easier.

 

Support, both riot points and referrals have a ton of threads and they just all get messed up in one section.

 

I've seen referral services get thrown into the first section as well..
Anyways, this gets my support.

I don't see the need. It's better to have that subsection more active with the involved threads. It clearly states what can be found within, and IMO, works fine since Superman and I changed the subsections respective name(s).

 

Agree the sections are quite busy and it will make the section user friendly it will just make things easier won't hurt anything.

 

I personally think Sythe needs to be stepping more in the direction of LoL. It's a huge game and it's generating a lot of interest here. I've already told Richard I think it's worth focusing on, but time will tell.

 

I agree with OP. I go into that section to see if anybody is selling RP. But I see all these Referral Services. Just split that section off and it'll be more organized.

 

I support, I myself, look through the LoL market section, it'd be easier to find codes that I'm looking for if every other thread wasn't a referral.

Only problem is, the market section for it couldn't get too big. There's boosting/selling accounts/selling RP/skins so on. But nothing else. If everyone is selling boosting, not a ton of customers/not enough people boosting.

 

These services will all vary in price and professionalism though. That's like saying there's no point having runescape skill training, because they're all doing the same thing.

 

I've spoken to big rich about it aswell, well.. a few months ago. I know first hand how well it's doing. Good to see others noticing

 

But there is a huge difference. With the 20 something skills there is, there's different skills to be trained. Different goals to achieve. With League it's simple. You either want to go up higher in ranked, or level up so you can get to ranked. I personally don't see it expanding *too* much more.

 

By definition, a competitive market is a growing one. LoL has 35 million players, I'm sure that there will be a certain amount of demand as more people come to Sythe for LoL services

 

The majority of people that played in rs2 up to eoc quit. When eoc came, i tried, but it was too bad. I was not used to it or even close to it, so i quit completely. I think others quit by eoc or before it. Jagex screwed themselves over.

I play LoL now since rs is gone. The LoL market is expanding and i agree with op to make new sections/subsections.

I voted for option 3. I'd like to see more threads pop up before splitting up the sections. With more [active] threads in the section, we appear to be more active and generate more activity. That's not to say that either section would be dead if we separate them, just that I'd rather keep them as is for now.

 

I also voted for number three. Unless a section is insanely active, there really isn't a need to split up sections.


If anything, at the moment this displays more activity in the section and with a market that's constantly growing (the LoL market) this is something that will attract more users to Sythe.

Maybe in the future but for now I'll say just leave it as is.

 

I voted for option 3; if it's not too much trouble/coding/etc. my vote is #1 as well. Referrals are major traffic. Good post, Jay
