What should my tattoo say?

Both actually have amazing meanings, I'm not sure why people are going off topic trying to tell you not to do it, it's your body you do what you want man. I know I want a little tattoo on my wrist or ribs when I turn 18, I'm gonna get either a wolf paw print of cat paw print just because those two are my fursonas.

On topic though, which has the strongest meaning? Some people might look at failure as something too negative, I would go with win though either way.

 

I'm 95% sure I'm going to go with "win". But I want to be 100% sure before I get it so I don't end up in the same boat I am now with a shitload of tattoos I want to cover up.

I have so many horrible ones because when I was young and extremely dumb, I would get drunk and let my buddy "practice" on me. We all know teens don't make good decisions when they're to shitfaced to find the bathroom. Most of the tattoos I have atm are hand-stitched, though I did get a few of them with a gun. Some of them I did myself... Quite a few actually... Still my excuse was bring shitfaced. Some of them I do actually like, even though they are poor quality and I just plan to fix them instead of covering them up, such as the ones on my fingers right shin and right shoulder. (PUNX on my right fingers, red stars on my left, spiderweb covering my entire right shin and a R.I.P. tatt for my buddy on my right shoulder.)

 

Holy fuck the first pic made me imagine getting my nipples pierced.. ugh that would hurt like hell >.>

 

Don't have the number 2. It will look fucking aweful.

 

Food might be another expense to account for. Merely a suggestion.

You could rent somewhere nicer.
You could treat your child.
You could save the money for yourself or for your child's future.

Instead you spend money scarring your body. The world we live in...

850/m is not a lot. Don't waste it.

 

I have no food expenses. I live with my mother and will continue to do so until I am off of probation. so I have 4 more years to save up for other things. After 6 months I get hired full time making 10.30 an hour 1,648$ before taxes in 1 month. Even if child support would take 50% of my paycheck (the maximum they can) I should have almost 750/m left over after taxes/child support and my only other expense being a 50/month bill, what do you suggest I spend that money on?

The motorcycle I want will only cost around $10,000. To go to college to take an art class + anatomy class for 1 year to be a tattooist/piercer will only cost around $5,000. I would be a complete idiot if I couldn't save 15k in 4 years when 750$ is put in my pocket every month.

You do not agree with tattoos, then that's your beliefs/opinions I won't tell you that you're wrong. But my beliefs are that tattoos are sacred, passionate and extremely important. I'll respect yours, as long as you will respect mine.

That isn't the font I'll actually be using, I just grabbed one in photoshop. The 2 nor the letters will look anything like they did in that picture.

 

This, the number 2 wull make it look like a text message. ESPECIALLY on the born to lose one, im taking a leap and assuming your getting it because of the message and johnny thunders. If its because of johnny thunders get it verbatim, get it "born to lose". I think "to" is also more visually appealing than the number 2, just my .02 , or .0to rather hahaha

 

I have no clue who Johnny Thunders is... I am starting to lean toward the word "to" over the number however. I had always visioned it with the bottom of the 2 underlining "lose" and the top like a rainbow over "born" but I would have to see both options drawn out for me to truly decide.

(by rainbow I don't mean a rainbow, I mean like an arch over born, I don't really know how else to describe it lol)

 

If you have to ask about what you want, you probably shouldn't get it.

 

I'm not asking about what I want, I know what I want. I want them both. This was to help me lean to one side or another. And I've decided to go with "Win" at once it has more of a personal meaning instead of a political meaning.

You listen to punk rock and dont know the frontman of the punk rock originators (besides stooges) the new york dolls? He did a bunch of solo stuff later with dee dee ramone, stiv bators , the guys from mc5. If you are unaware who these guys are and appreciate punk rock you should really check them out and see how it all started.

Anyways im pretty sure he pioneered the phrase born to lose with his song of the same name, if he didnt make the phrase up he definitely made it famous. Hes great, avoid his acoustic stuff though its fucking terrrrrrrrible.

 

Nope never heard of him. I like music like the ramones or the misfits, but I'm MUCH MUCH more into hardcore and oi punk such as the casualties, Oi polloi, lower class brats, shit like that. Lately I haven't been listening to any punk at all though and mostly folk/viking/goth/occult metals.
