This is a small useful suggestion I've seen implemented in another site and was kind of puzzled when it wasn't implemented here.

Basically, when you click on the amount of replies a thread has had, you get the "Who posted?" dialog.

    http://www.sythe.org/misc.php?do=whoposted&t=1598960

You can click on the username and it goes to the profile.

What I suggest is that when you click the numbers, say you click n4n0, have it search said thread filtering for n4n0's posts.

    :)

You can just as easily find them, if you know how to operate google. Although, I do think this would be an easier way.

I don't understand what this would achieve or why we need this implementation? I mean, CTRL+F helps perfectly fine? I've never had a need for this, so I can't really support. If someone could explain so I have a better understanding, I'd appreciate it.

Too much coding for a useless function I my opinion.

If there isn't a great deal of coding, I'm sure govind can do it pretty quickly. Would come in handy a lot. Support.

Would be a useful feature if it were to be done. I could definitely see the use for it.

I've had to spend a little while searching for posts before. While eventually I always find it, I'm sure that for a fair few members, the efforts to create this function would definitely be worth it.

Would an easier way about it possibly be adding a "search a thread" option now that advanced search is back?
