As I posted on the Habbo thread, if anything from the other game market is given its own section, it has to be Neopets.

 

Agreed and voted accordingly. I'm not involved, but the market's clearly pretty active.

 

I'm not into the market at all but If it's active may as well have it. So support from me.

 

Seems like a lot of people sell/buy Neopets stuff. Don't see the harm in it.

 

There's definitely a market out there for neopets items. With that many active posters without its own section I'd assume with it's own section it'd bring in members.

Definitely support this, the market for neopets is there; every time I'm in that section it's usually filled with neopet related trades.

 

It's pretty active, and if it gets it's own section, it will free up space for games like habbo and such.

 

There are obviously an abundance of 'selling' threads but that's the majority of them.

Even in the example you've provided - 15/1 selling to buying threads.

If there were more buyers i would support this but the majority of the community is selling, not buying. I say leave it where it currently is placed in other mmo's.

 

I didn't even know this game still existed, no support not popular enough. For nostalgia purposes I'll go check it out, haven't played it since I was maybe 12?

 

The people wouldn't continue to sell if there wasn't a market here at Sythe, they wouldn't continue to bump their threads if nothing was being sold. There is no need for buyers to create the threads as there are sellers who are catering for everything they need.

The neopets section is active, and needs it's own designated section.

The majority of posts per thread are all "still selling" and "bump" which are users that don't read the rules prior to posting, bumping before the 8-hour rule and causing more work for mods.

 

That's not to say that they're not gaining sales? The section is active, end of story. And I don't know what the 8 hour bump rule has anything to do with the suggestion, people excessively bump in every section of the website, hence the reason we have moderators..

 

You put random bullshit in any thread and have people continusly bumping it, odds are it's going to look active.

 

@Asap I don't know how popular neopets is in general anymore but it's not that popular here on sythe for it to need its own section and no this is not a troll.

 

Neopets is active tbh, there are nowhere near as many buyers and sellers, but that's with every market, look at upgrades for example..

 

Just an addition to my support; there really isn't that many black market forums that cater for neopets, there are plenty of websites that sell overpriced NP etc, so having it's own section within Sythe to cater for this market would theoretically bring more people to the website.

 

Bump, if this doesn't receive 20 supports I won't make the poll for the section in SL.

If there's only 11 people who feel we need this section out of a userbase of our size then there's really no need.
