What about this signature? :


I wanted that robot to get out of the "O" if you know what I mean... I dont know if its working. + Wanted a kind of metallic effect on the text to be better - Any tips on this new signature?

I think you may be going a little too far with the overlay, you may want to change it to a soft light and grayscaling it. Also, you should try to incorporate something in the background, such as a render, or some special effects like maybe even a flame painter or just something to add some extra flare to the text.

Here's an example of one of my works I think you should look at.



Also, when using renders, try to get a 3d render so that way it blends in a lot better with the c4d text. If you are using photoshop, I highly suggest this to everyone, use Render>Lighting Effects, it will make a huge difference if you incorporate the light on a background with the light on a render, or 3d text. However, I do think that there's an improvement from your last signature, because I now can actually tell that it was made in cinema 4d, making it look more professional, keep up the improvement!

 

I appreciate the time youve spent to write this comment. I also find that I should put some renders and will try to incorporate them into my next signature "How about that?". My challenge this time was to have a better text and I think I did it better I love how your doing your signatures. Its a really interesting way to do signatures and it attracts people Thanks for that post! I will certainly use it to do my next signature

 

theirs something about your sigs that you are making them look like they have a mat finish. in the rs god one it kinda fits but on most of your sigs it looks weird.

i know this is a weird example i was looking for cars but i couldn't find one sid by side an this is what i found. (i googled matte vs gloss)

see how the one on the right is dim an kinda like dull an dim. an the one on the left pops an looks nice.

 

Saving your GFX as a .png instead of a JPG will greatly increase the quality of your graphics. Repost as a .PNG and I will give you some CnC as requested.

 

The 1st one is better imo because its legible. Ive found the best text images are ones that you can immediately decypher (graffiti excluded), then draw you in with included effects.

Also, as ^ stated; you want to save your pics as png-24. Its cleanest.

I like the new white one, looks clean but you could remove the robot on the right it does not fit there at all imo.
And the transparency on the robot coming out of the O is annoying me, otherwise it is a really great signature

 

yes your new sig is looking better but the render on the left is a bit blurry and i would stick to one type of renders like how you got a 3d render an a cartoon render use one or the other. but i thank you are getting the hang of it nicely.

The 3D text is looking nice, but the render on the right seems a bit out of place. Main reason for this is because the text has a lot of depth, whereas the robot is rather flat. Something to lower that illusion would be to make the 3D text less deep. That being said, the lighting is also off on the robot, which you'll pretty much always have when you're taking renders without spicing them up. I'd suggest looking into C4D render effects, mess around with those a bit and the whole thing should look a lot more crisp!

 

Looks a lot better now that you've been uploading in .png. I've noticed your quality go up 10x from just that alone. Add some lighting effects, particles, etc. to give your art the glisten that it needs.

 

should make the o with the guy surfing out of it, exploded, as if he busted through it. would give it a nice look i think.
